While taking nothing away from "the thrill of victory" for Beech, many of us are happy with the outcome

of this game for another reason. EVERY team that played Maplewood had to read TRASH talk each week

from this guy "Boski". He showed no respect for any other team . Hopefully, he has no interaction with

kids who may be influenced by him.

Show another side Boski. Come on here and congratulate Beech on their victory - WITHOUT blaming

the refs (your typical excuse when Maplewood doesn't win).

Since this game is being played at Mapplewood.... I have to go with Mapplewood. To all you Rossview supporters, get your ticket and make the trip. You will get your monies worth by just listening to their announcer. He is the best!

I thought April fools jokes were just for April 1. You'll need double ear plugs if you go to Maplewood. The announcer

there is the most obnoxious and rude announcer that you will ever hear. He runs his mouth DURING the play and even

calls penalties before (and whether or not) the ref pulls his flag. I'm not sure what the TSSAA rules pertaining to public address announcers at sanctioned events are, but this guy does his best to influence the refs and insult visitors. It's a shame that he's been allowed to get away with what he has. Be ready to go thru metal detectors (not kidding) when entering.

Good all around effort from Tullahoma last night. Lawrence Co. was pretty good and big.

Next up is Beech, with an upset brewing if Ttown plays to their capability.

Tullahoma has yet to play it's best game (IMHO). Beech has had a great year and it will take an outstanding effort by any 4A team

to beat them. That said, I feel that Tullahoma will bring it's A game and give Beech a good test and represent region 54A well.

oakland by as many as they want

Oakland's had a great year. Better than anyone (even the most loyal fan) could've predicted.

Although they had a TOTAL sleepwalk against Coffee County, they had a year to remember and,

IMHO, will progress deep in to the playoffs. Good luck to the Oakland faithful. Could this be the year?

Point taken. It stinks that a lot of better teams will be sitting at home this coming weekend when a 3-7 team gets another chance. Especially if you

take a look at the combined record of the 3 teams that FC beat. Wow. Oh, well. You are one mean spirited individual. We do this because it's fun, and we get to know people like 2p and Oland Pats. I quess we should all just keep our opinions to ourselves and let you tell us what you see through your rose colored glasses. I will always support CC Football, and yes my opinions are biased. Lighten up and keep it fun. For most of the Tullahoma players this was the first time they've ever beaten a CC team. Congratulations to them. The total domination they've had to endure by CC finally came to an end.

By calling me "one mean spirited individual" is keeping it "light & fun"? Really... The truth is that you and a couple other CC posters

like to make comparisons & comments about opposing teams (i.e., Tullahoma won't be able to use Cookeville's line & CC is better

up front on both sides of the ball) without being called out on it. And, when you someone does, you start crying about "I guess we should

just keep our opinions to ourselves". Maybe "crying towels" were in order this year instead of the hats that were "awarded" last year.

As for Tullahoma players having to endure domination from CC, who are you kidding? CC hasn't won back to back games against Tullahoma

since the early 80's!!

i dont know about wc but after watching cc against T-Town, it apears they do not have a leader on the field and they sure cant block. i have a hard time believing anything will change this week.

I don't know about WC either, but I disagree about CC not having a leader on the field. Their running back

Justin Kanjanabout (sp?) is a hard nosed runner that any team would love to have. From all accounts, he's

well respected and definitely leads by example.

Changing subjects - it seems that the complete domination of CC last week by Tullahoma has really put a muzzle on

the usual CC prophets. Maybe the awful taste of crow from all of their mistaken predictions and inaccurate comparisons

has taken their toll - although I predict it's just a matter of time before they're back to their old ways.... /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

I've seen both teams and LC should win this one. FC has some good athletes and, for whatever reason, good

first drives to start the game. After that they seem to go downhill.

Cousy, that was great idea you had about the two mayors making a friendly wager on the Coffee Pot football game Friday. I talked with Tullahoma mayor, Troy Bisby, and he liked the idea. He talked with Manchester mayor, Betty Superstein, and she didn't feel comfortable with doing that. I called her a couple of times and left messages for her to call me, but she never called me back. We tried and it would have been fun.

Seems Mayor Superstein had a pretty good idea how this one would turn out. Good thing she didn't listen to Pedo! Or, on second thought,

Hey, sure they did. Good defenses on both teams. But when you move the ball down the field then turn it over, commit a supid penalty and the likes - that is on the Raiders. If CC never moved the ball and went three-and-out all the time and turned the ball over on the snap ... then we could just say the offense is just bad, no arguments. But that isn't the case. The offense looks brilliant at times and lackluster at others. Tullahoma's defense did well tonight, though. Not taking away. Just looking at things the Raiders need to improve on. Team moved the ball - didn't score.

Are you kidding me? "Good defense on both teams"? Were you at the game? Tullahoma just scored 34 points! Cookeville scored 27 last week. What do you call a good defense? For you to say "the offense looks brilliant at times..." is beyond comprehension! If you take KJ out of the mix, the CC offense

Glad to make your day. I aim to please ... Of course I showed bias. I believe I said sometime during that show that my pick was going to be biased. What do you want me to say? You think I'm gonna come out and say Coffee County has no chance? Hey Raider fans, why even show up to Tullahoma Friday the Wildcats will mop the floor with us. The team would save everyone time and gas money if it just didn't show up. Call coach Olive and forfeit and mail him the trophy. That will get my listernship / readership up ... since my show is MANCHESTER BASED. I went to school here, played baseball here, coached here and host a radio show IN MANCHESTER. I remain as objective as possible - but to not support Coffee County would be occupational suicide.

(Most) Listeners could could care less who you predict to win (if they want your honest opinion), but what's so funny is that you made such a point to say that the Thurs night show wasn't the only sports radio show featuring local athletics. Now it seems that you are interested in the Manchester listenership ONLY. Maybe you should let your sponsors know that. That way they won't solicit Tullahoma business.

No.. when you have stupid penalties and can't hold on to the football it has nothing to do with the defense. Tullahoma's defense is okay, Cookeville's is better and Oakland's is the best I have seen in years.

Sorry you are right on some things but the Raiders rushed for 200 yards on 43 carries for 4.6 yards per carry, I will take that any day,we came out in a 4-3 and tried to play man we can't do that, plus we had ten penalties and three turnovers... just didn't play well all-around

 

congrats to tullahoma's coaches and players... good luck the rest of the season... I still agree with MCHSFAN that Oakland and Cookeville are much better teams.

Coffee County will be ready for????? I have the utmost respect for the CC players. I've even coached some of them as youngsters.

But, starting last year, you've shown Tullahoma very little respect. This year, you started off with saying that CC has the upper hand

in the O & D lines.....then get your feelings get hurt over the radio show post, thinking someone from Tull has dissed you somehow......then, on your show Thurs morning, you show your obvious bias by saying "let's win this one & again next year...making it three in a row!"(kinda got ahead of yourself on that one, didn't you?). Cookeville is the best team I've seen this year Oakland Included. You'll see them deep into the play-offs. Tullahoma is not in their league, but it is the Coffee Pot and you can throw records out the door. Tullahoma scrimmaged Oakland, and was shut out 14-0, before Tullahoma scored on their 2nd string. Coffee County wasw not up for the Cookeville game, the fans weren't even in it....I quess Oakland took a lot out of us. You'd of thought Oakland was the region rival and Cookeville was just another game. Even then we had enough offense to have been in a close game, if you take away all the fumbles and interceptions. Maybe this was a wake up call. I quess we'll /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=" find out Friday night. By the way, as accurate and quick as Cookeville's passing game was, they would have carved up just about any team. It's not like the coverage was that bad.

With all due respect to Cookeville, the comment that "Tullahoma is not in their league" was VERY disrespectful and, obviously, BS. As for for Oakland,

once again, with all due respect to them, IT WAS A SCRIMMAGE! MCHSFAN, we can all read what your excuse(s) were for the Cookeville game. What

about the Tullahoma game? How about this...."take away Tullahoma's total domination of the offense and defensive line and we're in that game!"

Or, "take away Tullahoma's TD's" and we win that game! How am I doing MCSHFAN?

Look for the last three years "some" tullahoma students have done some very stupid things including destroying property at the CCHS practice field, all three years the tullahoma students started it, yes the manchester kids responded but they are high school kids what do you expect. What was put on a kids car tonight at the volleyball game is classless.... If you don't believe me I have the pictures. The young man that the remarks were written about is the most hard-working selfless kid I have ever had the pleasure of knowing... just show some class.

Hey 5A, how's the view from up there on your high horse? For you to say that what Tullahoma students have

done is "stupid" & "classless" after what was spray painted on the sign in front of THS this week, and then to

justify it with the childish comment "they started it", shows your view on what's right & wrong. Of course, it could be that where you come from, a spray painted rendition of the male genitals may be considered "classy" art.

As for what was put on a car yesterday, I have not heard, but, in no instance, should a car or any property

be vandalized in any way - much less to demean a student. But, rest assured, it's been done on BOTH campuses.

Bearfire, with all due respect, how can you call that trashing someone. Anyone that read that "student's" comments had to be thinking the same thing. In fact, I've got my doubts about

that even being a student (i.e., who said she was 16?). Possibly an adult trying to further intensify the already tense situation?

It would go along with RebelHearts "look at poor pittyful us" comments. Talk about needing to
