I heard they already have their gas masks on in Cookeville in preparation for goodpasture fans rolling in on Friday.

You Alcoa fans have to understand what kind of garbage you are dealing with when you try to have discourse( that's DIScourse goodpasture fans, not the other thing you do with your sister) with them.

goodpasture is a dirty team. Alcoa needs to play their game and not get drawn into penalties after the cheap shots, hits after the play, being cursed at, etc.

Word is Cookeville is bringing in 1000 dumpsters to accommodate all the trash from goodpasture that will be watching the game....

Well if you knew anything about the team-you'de know GP scoring 3 will never happen. They barely can kick an extra point and everyone in the stand puckers their a-hole when that's about to happen. I can't really respond to the other claims because I didn't see it and I watch the game from the fence. I do, however, know 1 GP senior player that hasn't played for the last four games because of his bad attitude. My son plays on this team and I coached him from the time he was four years old and I know he don't play dirty and would tell me if anyone did. I played for Jim Satterfield at Trousdale County in early 80's. We played dirty-very dirty.

I for one think it's time we got down to what really matters here............How will the city of Cookeville ever get rid of the stinch from all of the goodpasture people? That's a lot of trash to have all in one place.

I think this will be a fine game. I have watched all of GP's games and this team has alot of character and guts. Yes they are big and fast but their heart and desire to win has been the difference between this team and past GP teams. I wouldn't bet against them so easily. They respect their opponents and the game should be alot of fun.

Do you respect your opponent by cursing at them, kicking, and hitting after the play? If so, job well done on the respecting, goodpasture!

I definitely am not the only one who has mentioned the questionable sportsmanship of goodpasure this season. I just think your players act like they have no class at all.

PC needs to be prepared for goodpasture to run their mouths and take some cheap shots after the play. Pearl Cohn is a much more talented team as long as they don't let goodpasture draw them into committing personal fouls by retaliating to their dirty play.

the DL coaches are just that much smarter and better at what they do, that they will just completely out coach the Maplewood staff, bc we all know Metro coaches, especially The "HOOD" coaches would never be able to coach their teams to 2 victories over such a great school like DL twice in the same season, that DL wins by a mile,RIGHT!

Anyone picking Lipscomb would be doing so because it is always hard to beat a team again after you have played and beaten them that season. Don't try to turn this into something it isn't.

That is absolutely the most laughable statement I have ever heard in my life. goodpasture is known around middle TN for being a dirty team. Late hits, running their mouths constantly, and general classlessness permeate this program. Ask someone who played against goodpasture, and to a man, they will tell you gp just doesn't play clean. Probably that crap city of Madison that's being a bad influence on these boys. Try not to get boat raced by Pearl-Cohn this week.

This is one of those games where you don't want to see either team lose, because you would like to see BOTH of them playing next week.

Congratulations to Giles co on a great season. Losses like this hurt bad, but if you have the right kind of kids in the right kind of program, and I believe Giles does, they make you better. Both teams should be extremely proud of themselves. Two great programs, coaching staffs, fan bases, and teams.
