  1. If the kid is that good, he'll easily make it after he's a Junior. Why be so selfish, let the kids who are trying to be seen that are going to be seniors have the spot. If an 8th or 9th or 10th grader has an awsome day , the scouts won't remember by the time he's a senior. If he is that awesome,he'll be seen Are you just a kid (or parent) whose ego keeps them from seeing this is for upperclassman who want to be seen and whose time is running out. There are very few spots for a lot of good kids. Where's the love?

  2. The coyotes are west tennessees best travel team. I was saying several players coming out of there are returning on the hs team. seeing your smart allic response must mean your a pathetic player who couldnt make it?? nice try /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

So your saying that anyone who cant make the coyotes is pathetic?

Wow again! That kind of attidute is exactly why I made that remark.

Does that also apply to those who never wanted to or tried out for the coyotes.

Does that include me?Im almost 40yrs old and unfortunately I dont think

they have ever had an age group for me. My feelings come from all the excessive

bragging from a large part of the recent coyote teams. Plus all the little

jackets and "state championships" which include 2-4 team tournaments (a fact

that is never mentioned when the self-promotion starts) just kind of wear on

most everyone who is not good enough as you put it.I think you should just

play the game and understand that no one who is not a coyote is impressed

by the fact that you are.

  3. I know they have alot of talent in the sophomore class, with several former coyotes, and catcher/ pitcher hagen nelson is a tremendous ball player. Im not saying theyre gunna be great, but they should be 1000% better than they were last season

Did you say coyotes? WOW thats impressive!!!! Any autograph sessions scheduled?

  4. #83 is Dusty Bright. And YES, he DID get killed by Noah Chandler. It hurt me just to watch the hit!

Must not have been a permanent kill,I noticed 83 caught 4-5 more passes afterwards, caused a big fumble and was in on several tackles.Plus his reaction to the hit seemed to pump up the USJ crowd just

as much as the hit pumped up JCS.

  5. Thanks for the correction. I was using an unofficial site for USJ stats.

Dusty is having a great junior year for the Bruins. He should definitely make the all-region team.

what site has these stats. I'd like to access it for defensive reference.

  6. Here are unofficial stat leaders for QB, RB and receivers, through this weekend:

  8. Milan's defense was hurt yes but they were getting killed on the same play all game long. 17 came over the middle and pushed 38 all game and got inside and caught it. Why did morris not blitz him with Williamson and kill that play. When they blitzed 5 you could tell a difference. Terrible passes and a turnover that put it away. Milan also fumbled inside the 10 on first drive of game. The 2 scores were the pass that bounced to receiver on 3rd and 10 , and the late pass int. on 3rd and long. They scored on both of them drives. So watch for the playoff game when they meent again and it ill get ugly. Point blank!!! And yall were on hush mode as I said when we creeped on the 24's over there talking a little smack!!!

Are you as big a redneck loser as your post make you seem. Or could it be you're joking.Man you're either joking or your the biggest idiot ever. Get a life.

  9. Sorry everyone that I could not be here to speak my mind. Milan is the worst team in the state!!! USJ should beat them with the K-5 school kids right. WRONG!!! This is Milan not Briarcrest whose QB got hurt when up 12-0. Thats why they lost period. Harding Academy just got beat up on the scoreboard in a shootout. But USJ is ot going to throw for 400+ yards on Milan. That just not going to happen. Milan will be up 35-7 at half. FIREWORK ANYONE.

Husker says Milan 56-14!!! Silver Dodge 24's for any bets on this game see you there!!!

The Briarcrest QB got hurt when USJ was up 28-12.

  10. Dont get so defensive. We all have opinions but no one said anything about recruiting. I've just heard a lot about USJ and JCS moving to DII and was curious how many teams there were currently. Plus, If Briarcrest was #9 out of 11 teams, you should hardly brag about beating a top ten DII team.

Not being defensive, just reiterating what you and others have always contended. If private schools recruit, then even #11 out of 11 is something to brag about. But where exactly did you see us bragging.Thats more up your alley.

  11. exactly how many teams are there in the DII program right now?

oh come on guys, what does that matter. According to most Milan posters over the last 3-4 years, all private schools are big recruiting schools. So Im sure all the DII programs are loaded even the bottom 3. As a foot note my nephew is a junior at USJ .Twelve of the 13 juniors playing football were there in the seventh grade and 11 of 13 were there in kindergarden.Hard to imagine knowing a 4year old is going to be a stud player in high school. Those numbers are almost identical in each sport and class at the school. Most of the ones that start in the seventh grade came from private schools that only offered K-6th grade.

  12. Milan will win by 3 td's if they want to. They have entirely to many weapons for USJ. This game will be out of hand before halftime. Milan will not be tested until late in the playoffs. If they stay injury free they will be facing alcoa in the championship game. Good luck to USJ the rest of the way but go ahead and chalk up a big L for this game.

    Bump

  13. Ah, the posts of one who trying to have a snappy comeback but falls short in his efforts.

Do away with all polls, especially the AP high school poll. They don't mean jack. Most of the voters are guessing about teams from opposite ends of the states. And those who waste votes for homers are the worst.

Nice try hawk63, but no cigar!

Do not see where it fall shorts. I AGREE the polls are bogus but so is all the self promotion done on

coach t . Teams that are happy to claim rankings when their included but become "haters"when they

are not. I'll take that cigar back!

  14. Guess we will see tomorrow night when Lexington comes to town. Have heard they have a good team and will be a test. Also heard today that Lexington Middle and Caywood Middle have combined to make this team.

Baller makes a valid point, but thank goodness it will be a mute one after this year !

Any word on how the game went?

  16. I hear from everyone at the game that what you say is right. Had they run a little more they may have scored another touchdown or two. But that would also have given extra posessions to usjs offense. Word is they had trouble watching usjs 2 outside recievers, and that on 3rd and 4th downs they were burned 6 or 7 times by a slot reciever #83 on medium crossing routes were he beat the corners to the corner and turned up field for big plays.

  17. If Humboldt keeps running last week, they win by 7. They were only stopped when they started passing the ball. We were commenting on the other side of the field that the coach had been watching Fulmer ball way too much. USJ boys were outsized, overmatched, tired from playing both ways and could not tackle big running backs.
