    What are you talking about? Overlooking the obvious? I know Page made the fewest mistakes in the game. They also took advantage of the SH mistakes. That is why they won a very good baseball game between two very good teams. 3b21 made it sound like that there was a solution to fixing the errors by pointing a finger at the SH players and making position or player changes. That is the way I took it I guess.

     

    No finger pointring here. No dog in the hunt. hopfully at the end of it all SH isnt walking away saying if we only had this play or that play back. Buckner and his team didnt win because of mental errors. Everyone has the will to win. Not everyone will. You said it yourself. pressure is mounting. How do you get players to relax. Don't let pressure be the excuse. excuses are for victims, winners find a way! The Raiders found a way wednesday night! Good luck the rest of the way!

    Huge series coming up next week. I can't see a lot of kids at Spring Hill while the kids are on Spring Break.

     

     

    With everyone so worried about the economy(and ticket prices at the field), I dont know how many families are on vacation!

    With the new student addimisson price 2 bucks seems like pretty cheap entertainment!

    If you see someone this week tell them about the game!!!!! The more you talk about it the better!

    David Limbaugh announced that there will be no championship round, but the champions will be "pool champions". Spring Hill won their pool with a record of 3-0. Congratulations Raiders for a pretty big accomplishment in a very competitive tournament. Also, Page finished 1-2. Congratulations Raiders and Patriots for representing 10-AA so well!!

     

    Nice Job For Spring Hill

     

    2009 Warrior Spring Classic is in the books. One makeup game tomorrow, weather permitting.

     

    Since pool play was not complete and fields may not be playable no semifinals or finals this year.

     

    'Pool Champions' this year were:

     

    Pool 1 - Shelbyville (2-1) over Cookeville (2-1) via runs allowed (15 vs 21)

     

    Pool 2 - Dyer Co (3-0)

     

    Pool 3 - Brentwood Academy (2-0)

     

    Pool 4 - Spring Hill (3-0)

    WOW! Good win for the Raiders!! Ive heard a lot about the Cooper kid. You must be playing well to put 9 on him. Branham is a good pitcher, mixes it up well. Page plays Shelbyville today, how did Shelbyville look?

     

    Its interesting how 90+ thowers (cooper) have accuracy problems. Branham did a very nice job! location location location!

    Still, the guns were all pointed at cooper. I think Branhm may have turned some heads!

    Well at least we beat East....again another year when the big crowd came and left home sad. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> we will always be a thorn in thier side in all sports. face it East, we are just better than you.always have been always will be. as far as Spring Hill mr. willie ....keep your fingers crossed, we will be playing to win,.

     

    I dont think luck will have anything to do with the outcome. Spring Hill sweeps.

    hickman lost to hampshire last night 10-2...but they did the same thing east did .bring the home cookin umpires.

     

     

    Even if bad calls were made you have to hit the ball and score runs!

    Keep working hard!

    Bigler 4 or 5 and Brochu 2 or 3 innings.

     

    When SH did get something going they would either shoot themselves in the foot or Independence would put out the fire.

     

    Independence has several good players. They should do very well this year.

     

     

    Tanner Bellanfant pitched for indy. The only guy to beat franklin last year(in district) is what I hear.

    He also has a bone spur in his throwing shoulder. Still looked pretty darn good.

    Went to a High School baseball game the other day and took my son and wife. Cost me $15 bucks to get in.

    ($5 each)

     

    I was talking with some parents and they were having to decide which parent attended and whether the other siblings could go.

     

    For example: Talked with one family who had Mom/Dad/ and 2 siblings. At 3 games a week it was costing them $60 per week.

     

    What is everyone charging to watch high school baseball?

    Just curious?

     

     

    First home game of the season was $5 per.

    120 people were at the event. It didnt seem like a big deal.

    Some people are going to complain no matter what.

    Bad facility, bad food, no bathrooms bla bla bla.

    The schools do not pay for umpires, busses or maintenance

    and up keep but you know that already. Thank goodness for all the great booster clubs that help

    with as much as they can.

    Football games last year were $6 and I didnt see much improvement

    at my schools facility. You would think with crowds that large they would charge less.

    We will run all over East. This will be our time to show we are for real this year.

     

    Its important to have goals! Being the best in your county is a start!

    You can start by being "for real" in your county!
