I've never even heard of them, and I highly doubt they can run with Rainey or McKelvey

It'll probably come down to Bryan McKeen or Ian Murphy in AAA, my money's on Murph winning with a kick.

Maryville is not running a 4 x 8 at state
Maryville's 4x8 never broke 9 this year

Jordan Chaney is the nuts.

4 of the top 5 graduate. and oddly enough, one of the girls on the team has it but she's dating someone else on the team. hmmm..

And I like all your talk about Maryville being the studly team, then you go and rock them at region.
Maryville actually did well when you consider that their 2nd runner was running with mono, their 3rd was out with mono, and their 5th and 6th are out with injuries. Their 4th also missed 3-4 weeks in August and is just getting back to where he was at last year.

the second mile at steeplechase is hardly dreaded. its not like its downhill or anything..
but its a great time to pass the people that went out hard. i think in the second mile i passed 10 of the 30 people that were ahead of me last year at state.
did i mention i've pr'ed by 18, 15, and 21 seconds the last 3 times i've run percy warner? /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />

Knoxville Catholic is now in AAA. I only know about AAA, but I'd say these look like the favorites:
Boys: Morristown West, especially since Houston's number 1 hasn't run since Twilight. With no frontrunner or 5th man, I wouldn't expect to see Brentwood on the podium.
Rainey hasn't raced in a while, but if he's stayed healthy then he's the favorite. Mansy probably has the next best shot, but I know he missed a little time because of the flu.
Girls: Ferowich...yeah.
Part of the reason Oak Ridge is at the top of the girls rankings is because of the courses they've run, but they still look pretty legit and are probably the favorite.
