Big Game tonight!! Chiefs and Bears square off at the CHOP HOUSE! I think the Bears will be brought back down to earth this week! Congratulations to the Bears in their big win last week! We have to continue to work on the offensive side of the ball. I think this week we will be more consistant and we have added some nice new wrinkles to our run game this week. The chiefs sure miss Bell on both sides of the ball. Dumdum, when can we expect him back? I think Owen will make a difference on offense and defense this week. I thought he came in last week and played well on both sides of the ball. The chiefs need to get off to a fast start tonight! Look out for that on sides kick from the Bears!! I think they want some payback from last year! I think the chiefs will win a close one 20-14!! Go chiefs!!!!

Lil Bell will be out for two more weeks, til the next exray and kinda goes from there. I also thought Owen had a good game last week, wasnt sure why he didnt play more, I thought his shoulder was still bothering him, surely he'll be on the field more tonight. Heard that J. Black is no longer with the team, can anyone confirm that? If so, who goes into the position?

I heard Black had a mri this week. He wasn't dressed for walk thru/ practice last night

i think we had 44 dressed for last nights practice

two a days start today. i think 2 scrimages scheduled ( heritage is one ) don't know dates and times yet

I don't know any details from workouts but IMO the young men are getting bigger. They had time trails last week.

I don't look at my childrens education as a laughing matter. Just look around the county at the shape our countys educational program is in and tell me if your still laughing...... if you are then you really don't have the well being of our young poeple at heart.

Have you not been reading this link. The whining has not been about education it has been about football and how the kids were done dirty in football. Nowhere has the education been brung up, until the last few posts. So dont tell me all of the sudden it is about education when the last 22 pages have been about the football program and a few egos being bruised

I agree with you guys.Its remarkable what a few people can get done in this county because of who they know.If i was a board member or a supt.of schools ,when a problem arises i would talk to everyone instead of takin a few people advise.Thats what their there for, for the majority not the minority.And they need to be accountable and we must not forget who they are.The problem here is the good old boy network.We need to get away from that and do whats best for these kids.

Now don't get me wrong,i like COACH S.but i wouln'd be surprized if some of his coachs don't help this coming year.Hope i'm wrong but i just have that feeling.He was already short a few,we had the smallest coaching staff of anyone we played this year.And who wants to come here with the big pay our county gives.I would bet to say that most assit.coachs make more then are head coach does.People really need to find out the truth and not ignore it.Let your voice be heard now,not when your kid reaches high school,because then its to late.

With Loudon/Seqoyah renewing their series next year, and the many friends I have in the Madisonville/Vonore area, I often use these boards to keep up w/ the program. However, I cannot figure out why there is always some sort of personal vendetta being carried out. The name of this thread is "Satisfied with Sequoyah Football?", but bickering is all there is. I would like to be able to just keep up with the program, but one has to fish thru 8 pages of personal attacks before finding any real info on the team. Ridiculous and childish. Adults should act better.

I am glad to see some other people feel the same way. This does not support the kids in any way. The folks that are doing this may think they are helping but I think they are doing more harm than good. The past is just that the PAST. We need to look to the future encourage these young men that give so much of their time to entertain us all on friday nights.

I couldn't agree more. The keys are focused practice this week(you play like you practice) and come to play with the same fire in there belly. Jake said everybody seems focused and upbeat, he also said they have over 60 kids out now!

DrDave jake is right. it seemed the young men were leaving nothing on the table in practice last night. I think they smell the blood inthe water and a starting to circle for the feeding. Hard hitting and hard running last night.
