  1. and one more thing before i let the devils handle themselves. all the ignorant people talkin about gville thinkin they're on a pedistole and gville thinks their better because of their "toys". thats the dumbest thing i've ever heard. their may be some stupid fans that feel that way but i know for a fact none of the kids at gville think about the "toys" when it comes for football. they dont care what they have to play with. bottom line is they just love to play football. and it just happens to be that they look better playin because of their "toys"... and and they fact that they actually are better at playin. but we'll see for ourselves tonight wont we.

  2. listen... bottom line. i got nothin against sg but all this talk about the amazing offence is over rated. so far they played two teams that did not win a game last year. the little beaver day care football team could put up points against those teams. and the only other game they had they lost. so after this week sg people will see if they do have this "amazing" offence. honestly i dont see it happening but hey if it does i commend them. and second walterstate guy saying wg is a state power house.... hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahha. thats all i really gotta say about that. go devils. shut all these people up... please.

  3. I am by no means trying to excuse his actions. I am just as disappointed as everyone else who is close to him. Your statement of me ending up in a jail cell or even possibly losing my life is a little out of line. It is possible to stand beside someone and still be able to step away when you know disaster is inevitable. I can offer my help, but that is all. Put yourself in his shoes. How would you feel at 18 and everyone had abondon you when you needed them the most? This story is alot like the poem "Footprints in the Sand" in a way, or maybe thats just a productive way of looking at it. But I believe you have misconstrued my statement of him coming to Knoxville if I needed him to. I am a student at Tennessee and I have family up here as well. I was referring to him coming to my side in case of a trajedy just as I have for him during his hard times. I wasnt implimenting any kind mischief as you seem to have thought that I was. I was putting his compassion and loyalty on display. I can see where the opinions of special treatment, needing to focus on getting his life straightend out therefore sports should be the last of his concerns, and whether or not he would have even been given these chances if he wasnt such a standout athlete branch from. Regaurdless...this is what he makes of it, he can learn from it and grow as a person or just stand by and allow it to become another chapter in his trajedy filled saga. It's hard to cast a friend away, I understand your stance Gdevil, but try to understand mine. If those who try to straighten him out are insulted around every turn then they will disappear more so than they already are at this stage of the game. All I can offer from a few counties over is my support. I'm not making excuses, but I do feel sorry for Jordan, and regret that he has put himself in this situation. Not only as a friend, but as a team-mate, fan, and most importantly as a human being. I agree with Lefty and bballfan thought...silence is what is going to do him the most good. The more attention we draw to him the more he is going to be placed under the microscope of society. I'm sorry for even bringing it up again but I felt a response was needed to further explain to Gdevil...sorry again.

    Its not that people are abandoning him charlie. they're just tired of having to back him up three or four times a year. i agree he's a great kid and he has been through a lot. but still on the other hand he's gotta be smarter with his choices especially because of what he's been through. and who ever said the statement about him getting more chances because he's a star is right. he has gotten way more chances than anyone else ever would of had. on the other hand though i hope they'll give him one more. and maybe... just maybe he'll realize he's gotta straiten up. not only for him but for his dad especially.

    but as for the game this week the devils will be perfectly fine without him. devils win big. hope to have him back for the playoffs though!!!

  4. I hope East's D has gotten alot better since the Jamboree....i know everyone says its just a jamboree but East's coverage couldn't stop Ryan Fillers when it was man coverage and a jump ball to him probably 4 times. They couldn't stop Trevon Hall on the ground either and alot wasn't the defensive scheme it was Hall making people miss and breaking tackles. With that said i'm sure it will be a very exciting game and close like all the other East and Greeneville games

    I second that Deezy. Unless there was major inprovements to the coverage it doesnt seem like its gonna be a problem. I know it was one quarter but still it was more that easy for greeneville to pass the ball on east in the jamboree. so as a greeneville fan i hope they stay up in man and we'll see how well the dbs are at the tight coverage. I say Greeneville-35, and East-21

  5. I believe that Austin Perkins(#15) will be the starting QB at Greeneville next year. He runs the freshman team and does it well. Reminds me of Greenway his freshman year.

    Did you forget about Wes Quarles... He's still a quarter back. Austin may run the show in two years but as of next year i think #16 Wes Quarles has the staring job.

  6. Are you Joking? Greenville over West?

    Greenvilee has 2 threats...thats it.

    Greenway and Hall. who else?

    Im gonna give it to West on this one, if they come out and produce a good, effective running game, it will open up some great plays in the passing part of their offense...

    West has been the underdog for a while now....and they say its because of coach woods....

    Well Coach Woods never won the games...the players did...and i think the players are gonna come out with a Win on this one.

    West 28

    Greenville 14

    2 threats. is that so. so who exactly do you suggest greenway is throwing the ball to. even without hall the devils have near 1000 yards passing this year and greenway's got to be throwing the ball to someone. i think i'd consider the devil wide outs a little bit of a threat as well.

  7. With a few major injuries to the Patriots, this game should be a real battle. Let's hear some predictions and specific breakdowns on this contest.... /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />

    I haven't heard anything about mcfall being injured but with him off the field it'll be a battle... East by 7... only b/c of mcfall

  8. Last year was a fluke.

    South will destroy Greenville, plain and simple.

    Rebels = 49 OR 56

    Devils = 21

    Destroy? I think not. greenevilles passing games is pretty stout and south's secondary is quite the opposite. greeneville should rip the defence apart. and with their passing game they have, they can throw it to anyone on the field. this includes both fillers boys, new kid Wright, hall out of the back field and you can also throw it to the new found reciever rollins. im just sayin south better be workin at the db position because you leave one of these guys open and your done. either way it ends up it will be a high scoring game. i give either team one touchdown. it'll be a coin toss.
