This thread has really taken a turn for the worst, why are we harping on the trash talk of a high school football team. Everybody does it, face it. As far as the late hit and being patted on the back, I just dont know how true that is. That means your saying that the coaches at Ryan are promoting dirty football. Many coaches that have played the game and are students of the game, coach their players to play to the echo of the whistle. Lets get this thread back on track and stop crying about something we dont know to be true!!!!!!!!!!!

I totally agree with everyone with the exception of Luke Colbert. Has this kid even taken any snaps as a starter?

Jefferson will be graduating from Ensworth. Will Ensworth be able to do it without him? BA is always big and fast, will Potter be able to coach them to a title? How deep will MBA be, how many seniors will they miss? Sounds like Ryan didnt make the cut, is there a reason for that? Does Brunetti have enough arounf him now to win it again?

If there was punching after the play in the rain of this game the ref might not have saw it. Im going to go out on a limb and say that the Ryan players play just as hard as any other team. Your right about hanging banners, but you also have to take what you can get. You have to start somewhere. I wasnt at the game against Ryan but the only touchdown you all scored was on a blocked punt. You didnt dominate the game at all in any aspects. Big win for BGA, and the new season will be here before we know it.

Can anyone add any incite to the reason why Coach K is leaving and why he is not in the running for the head coaching position? Does the principal not want him there or see that he can help keep the puzzle together.

What high school sport do they not trash talk in? The game of football is played with a lot of emotion and is very physical. You talk about a program that hasnt won anything in a while, they were in the playoffs last season, and were in every game this year. I think that every team holds themselves at a high standard. Lets not get carried away thinking that BGA has become world beaters.

Why do we keep talking about BA and Ensworth (Ricky) recruiting and nobody is willing to step up to the plate and report them if this is really going on.

As long as Scott is in on the process he will have a lot of input. Will the new coach be allowed to bring in his own staff?

Does the school have any canidates for a replacement? Are there not any former players now teachers or some ex APSU coaches or players that they could go after?

Why do you not have any confidence in the athletic director to make a heads up decision? Are you afraid that he may make a decision based on a personal belief or let his emotions take over. lol

How are you so sure that it is not left up to the school? Do they not submit the paper work and then when the figures come back, the sit down and talk about what the family "can afford" and what the school is going to give them to make it reasonable.

You speak on the alex bullard financial aid situation as though you were involved in the process. Where did alex go to middle school?

Why can you use the same predication with Ensworth being included? What have they done to be in with BA OR MBA? And this is the same ensworth team that lost to RYAN 2 seasons ago and had to have a late game kick-off return to win this year.

Very well put to a point. I think that BGA and Ryan both have very good coaching staff's and hard working players. I think those to schools do not get caught up in the recruiting game like some of the others. These two schools have rested on the morals that they will play with what is enrolled and accepted. Also both teams had quality wins this year with players that none of the "big schools" went after.

Anyone with two eyes and any knowledge of football can see that he has been successful. He also has been able to go out and get the best athletes into Ensworth. I totally agree with the small college comparison, but you have to include recruiting! Would you agree?

So in your opinion is this the best assembled staff in the division? I think the staff at BA, Ryan, and MBA are pretty good also. He has a new program and a "deep pocket book" some would say.
