First let me clear up a couple of things, in my last post i was stating that as far as Great Traditions Go, MILAN In my oppion is one of the greatest but i too am tired of the "unbeatable attitude" of some fans about Alcoa. All those state championships ARE very impressive no doubt. However, some people have forgotton that Milan also have some pretty impressive "past" stats such as 1998 1999 Back to Back in different classes. (just stating the facts no matter who is tired of that topic.) in the last part of my post i stated that it was not Past teams records that count this year. i just was making the comparsion. This is the Year where David "(Milan) again hopefully will meet Gollith (Alcoa) and i know there is alot of games to be played yet.... but history has a funny way of repeating itself and as a TRUE Dawg Fan it is my hope and expectation that will happenen this year. People are always bashing Milan Fans for talking how Great we are however when the game is over the fans who were complaining about us seem to realize that its not arrogance in our selfs its cofidience in our team that we are showing. I myself am not talking "bad" about individual teams with losing records.i am simplyly supporting the team i believe in. and as far as 67 games won in a row. According to my findings that to is in the past currently, Alcoa has 5 wins in a row and Milan has 7 As for this game in less than 4 hours Dawgs go to 8-0 for the season Milan By 21

I would like to adress a couple of things on this thread:first the game at hand Dawgs will win as big as they want to but it will not be by a huge margin because the coaches from Milan will not ententually run the score up as do some of the powerhouses in East Tn .Second: its good to see the Tornado Fans look as to what is being said about us it tells me that there is "some"Concern about a small town in west Tn with a "great" winning tradition.I hope that concern filters thru the entire team in Alcoa. The Buro game is a long way off and not counting our chickens before they hatch : how ever if the dawgs make the trip we WON"T just be there to show off those uniforms We WILL give the Tornadoes All they want! and third:Alcoa is a great team with a Great Past Record and have won back to back but have they ever won back to back in Different Classes?No ,I say not .....The only team in history of the TSSAA to do that is MILAN so if past performances count again ....I, say DAWGS WIN, but the fact is that its this years team,This years oppertunity this years record that counts and the way i see it we are undefeated Alcoa is not so again I say DAWGS WIN

Well I concider myself from Milan ,although I don't live there now,(I had 2 sons that played Bulldog Football) I just now finished reading the post from last game with USJ, and I could say that "If" milan "this" and "that". Lets not forget......Bad Blood Between both teams . I think dawgs win just cause the coaching staff.not to take anything away from USJ cause they will bring their A game but i have to believe This years team at Johnnie Hale will go undefeated thru the regular season This is by far gonna be a hardnosed hard hitting game. Milan has so many weapons too much to handle i think. 21-17 at the half however final will be 42- 17 Dawgs winning at home

Milan also wins this one Big . No disrespect to the vikings But Milan To too strong this year. I read people comparing them to the "98 and "99 teams, lets all remember those are GREAT BIG shoes to fill and alot of undue pressure 0n this team after all Back to Back is hard enough but lets not forget that it was in different classes. then i hear comparisons to the 03 team again another great year for the dawgs but more pressure. What you say we support this years team as we did in 98'and '99 And let these Dawgs handle Their Bussiness! All i can say is LET THE BIG DAWGS EAT Milan 42 Humboldt 7
