I must say beech had some very classy fans and players at the game tonight. Except for one older man who took it upon him self to come to the central side and talk trash to my friends dad and then walk off then come back a few more times to keep doing it, and he said that guy smelled like straight alcohol.

My hats off to a very good beech team. And congrats to central for a heck of a season and never giving up.

I say it should be a very interesting game since there's the factor of beech beating central 4 years ago, and I know they are wanting revenge. Don't really know much about beech this year besides hearing about Hurd. I say central takes it in a close one.

Since it is early season then --Mt. Juliet beat Columbia 42-14 in the spring. I guess that makes MJ that much better than them. I always thought playoffs (tournment) was a new season with winners in their respected classes! I'm glad we are adding preseason to this.

what im getting at is it doesn't take a whole lot to be great in 2a or 3a where it does once you get on up into 5 and 6a and i didn't know we were counting passing league games in this also? i mean honestly i went to them because i was center in high school and they are a waste of time they are basically practice away from practice

kinda upset kenneth hughs from columbia didn't make it but i know tra'd and shaq with represent us good.. where is this game at because i would love to go see it?

There isn't to many close playoff games for Maryville either. The TSSAA new system is broken. We need to go to 4 classifications with 1 private class. Alcoa 14 Cak 3 (week 3 of the playoffs) Wasn't that game closer than any Maryville played (playoffs) until the championship game? Alcoa had two starters out that game. I would call that adversity. Yet you want to make these comments.

 

Alcoa has won 43 straight games including two straight wins over your Rebels. You and the Rebel nation should know how hard this is. GQ is one of the greatest high school coaches ever in the state of Tennessee. Our run is going to come to an end soon but I won't forget how good the last two teams (09-10) have been.

mryville is also one of the only big teams that alcoa plays if im correct? so if that's the case if they moved up to say 5a or 6a i honestly doubt they would be as good as they are now in 3a

and i love how everyone puts ensworth on their list but not columbia even though columbia beat ensworth early season.... i really think columbia could have hung with some 6a teams this year towards the end of the seaon but next year they will be lucky to have a winning season with losing shaq mason, kenneth hughs and Trae'D that's really going to hurt them

I always think Maryville just improves so much during the season that they would beat Alcoa in a rematch. That game is played too early. Just my opinion though.

i think knox west should be tied with columbia when they played that game was a fight right until the end of it

Im from columbia and if anyone can find the link it would be appreciated even though i was there i would still like to see what espn did my lil cousin (columbia's qb) text me the night it was on and goes dude i just saw myself on espn. needless to say i looked everywhere for it and couldn't find it so if some1 does have it they need to cough it up

Greenville would beat Columbia by at least 2 TDs. Best 2 teams are Alcoa and Greenville

i don't know much about Greenville but I think it would be a good game or any of these teams matched up we are talking about because if anyone has kept track of columbia they got better and better as the season went on which they did last year too.. also they need some props since they graduated 12 starting sr's last year so they weren't even expecting to have a winning season and friday night under the circumstances i think they could of hung in there with smyrna or maryville or anyone. but that's just my .02
