I agree, the two are different. Lots different. Shaq was a baseball umpire before he became Grundy County Softball Coach, Right? He was real successful. He will never get the credit he truly deserves. But yes I agree baseball and softball are different. What about Shaq's assistant coach? Is she being considered?

I overheard someone talking today, that Mr. Smith might be the name being mentioned. He is from Whitwell I think, but is a very sports minded person. He use to coach some baseball I think. I don't know if he would take the job, but best of luck to who does. Anyone know anything?

Heard today that a former graduate from Whitwell, had interviewed for one of the openings out there.... He was a decent athlete when he was younger......... He is a good man, from what I hear...... Don't know about coach, but he would be a GREAT edition to GCHS.........
