Why does the State of Tennessee Department of Education even bother with TSSAA when all they have to do is ask kbrks and Hoopit10? They could save a ton of money.
add cpa4ever to that for exponential increase

Definitely Corn Elder; unselfish, total game changer

In the past, the tie breaker worked as follow
1. Head-to-Head
2. Wins vs the next highest finishers ( You starte with the 3rd team instead the district and go down. If Team A wins 2 against the 3rd seed and the Team B only beat them once, Team A gets 1 seed.) But if they both win out, this will not come into play because they beat each other.
3. Coin toss
I'm not sure its still like this but that is how it was done before. I don't think they use overall record because on team can schedule easy out of district and the other team could play a tough schedule. That way, the easy scheduling team don't get rewarded for doing that.
thanks. you are right about the strength of schedule. I did not think of that.

If they both win out, I believe it will go to a coin toss.
I do not understand the coin toss to decide the district champ. Why isn't the overall record used?

does anybody know the TSSAA rule about when the roster has to be fixed, and if it can be added to during the season?

This is getting so ridiculous. So many posts about issues that really DO NOT MATTER in the grand scheme of things on what used to be an intelligent site. Why don't you posters take a lesson from the public students and private students and GROW UP!
