comparing the Liberty scores...I think you're in trouble even with him....my predict....Liberty...Milan or Dburg meet in 3rd round....winner plays Nash Stratford in semis...winner goes to Cookeville and plays Alcoa and comes in 2nd....west TN teams that play with what gets off that yellow bus will never compete with open zoned east Tennessee all star teams....and until T$$AA recognizes open zoned schools have an unfair advantage and put them in D2... pay for play... it will be Maryville...Alcoa state champs every year....just my opinion....I could be wrong .....but I doubt it....lol...example...in 2009 I was at the state champ game...Milan vs Alcoa....I ran across a man and his wife who's son was the starting QB for Alcoa .. I graduated from Milan with both parents...I made the comment that I didn't realize they lived in Alcoa...they said they didn't....they lived in Knoxville...??...live in Knoxville yet their son plays for Alcoa???

Unless something has changed, I believe we are open zone too! Chances are they lied and said he was living with Grandma or paid the out of county tuition fee!

Hope the Adamsville fans that always run their mouths read that, I talked good about them last few seasons and all they do is go on our boards and cheer for the other team, I am sick of it good job horse

 

Thankfully McKenzie had a good enough team our player got a full game, we still making too many penalties and mistakes, gotta get rid of the fatigue and cramps but when you dont play many good opponents and lose one of your only good ones it happens.  

 

Rebels I think you have a good team, Mustangs just had to come in and make a statement after getting embarrassed by Milan a few weeks ago and I wish you good luck rest of season.  Good luck in the playoffs too.  One more thing Kyle already did it but I am looking for some of  the rest of you to get a big serving of a Big Bird and the bird I'm talking about is not yellow.

Folks, this thread has more than taken an unpleasant turn that has absolutely nothing to do with the actual game that was played on Saturday. I regret if any comment I may have made could have contributed to this.

 

While I am all for healthy debate and even some rather harsh disagreements, the tones in this thread by certain posters have really gone over the line in my opinion.

 

I will close my participation in this tread with this........Trezevant is the 2015 2A state champions and the players earned it. I hope the players enjoy this experience but please remember one thing......you are no longer the hunter, you are the hunted. It is much easier to climb the mountain than to stay on top of it.

So, you think it's fair for Gibson County(non open enrollment) to compete with Adamsville who is open enrollment? Nope! Aville should have a 1.4 multiplier because they have an advantage that allows them to potentially gain great athletes. Gibson Co( or whomever you choose as an example) is stuck with what they have. Huuuuuuuugggggge difference in open enrollment versus Closed! TSSAA has figured that out and there will be a change soon!

 

Are you saying only Adamsville should get a multiplier or all open enrollment schools? I know, I know! I think if they put a multiplier on public schools they should double the multiplier for private schools or just send them where they should be anyway! That multiplier rule would really send McNairy's program to the sewer! It's almost there now!!
