I don't know how you do it - your ratings are pretty darn good - could you handicap some pro football games for me?

Last weekend was great weather with some great girls soccer. I can't comment on the overall results but some observations:
Farragut is for real - great team, not a lot of weak areas, dominates the middle of the field
Father Ryan - another solid team, they had Bearden down 2-0 at half and controlled possession but ended up losing 3-2
Bearden - two studettes who have a chance to score every time they touch the ball
CAK - still pretty good but they are not as good as years past
Greeneville - Good, but can they find their groove consistently?
Officiating for the tournament - all over...

Sounds like a good idea Any other details - one day? Two days? How many games? Etc., etc., etc.
The goal of the round robin is play as much soccer as you can for the girls who don't see the pitch that often. They games will be played on the Galaxy Fields (club fields) on Saturday (one day). The number of games and the cost depends on the number of teams that enter. Should be a good day.

Can only speak for Notre Dame - Greenville and the Nomads were good competition and ND seemed to get out of it what was hoped for - a chance to see what the girls could do, team bonding and conditioning. With the return of several who were injured last year, graduation and maturation of the freshman, there are some holes to fill, but the athletes are there.
I can say from a third party that Notre Dame looked very good at defense and keeper, especially in the middle. They have one girl up top who has a lot of speed and foot skills - but there are some issues in the middle - just an observation.

Our HS boys are done and club soccer is almost over. Now we have to wait two months to start up the 2010 season - can we start pontificating on the upcoming fall season? Who are the teams to watch, what early seaason tournaments are going to set the stage, what players are going to shine in the fall?

Brutal schedule! Should prepare you for a good run at CAK and Notre Dame. Does Greeneville have a lot of returning players from last year?
Graduated a couple of key seniors, but they should be pretty strong.
