  1. That 10 pt margin was a little deceiving. Cookeville was up by 21, missing a starter and leading scorer so far this year with an injury. Cookeville called off the dogs and went to a slow down and JC cut into the lead.
  2. Any openings for other positions? Decent, not great ball handler, good shooter, started JV for Avery Trace this year.
  3. You should plan on having your kid transfer when entering high school. He will be better off. Not a chance! There isn't a better high school in the area for an education. That is the priority. No way would I send my child to a high school as small as most of the schools around here. While Cookeville may seem like a arge school here, it is half the size of our former high school.
  4. I'm new to Cookeville, just moved here from Illinois. H S Basketball is very big in the town I come from, crowds of 2000-3000 for regular season games and 4000+ for state regional & sectional games. So, it will be disappointing to go to games with minimal support. My son is playing middle school ball & his games take priority, but we will be getting to some CHS & Tech games.
  5. Is anyone aware of any Cookevile travel programs? We are looking to relocate there next summer & would be interested in getting information about programs. Know that my son wouldn't be playing there in 209 season, but would be in 2010, as a 13 year old. Thanks for any help.
