  1. The tide only shifts for a short period of time. I've said it before, we have our three or four down years every 15 or 20 years. We are still competitive during those years but sometimes our rivals get to savor some well deserved wins which in turn renews the rivalry and helps sustain each teams monetary needs. I enjoy seeing the men on these boards who have been blistered by Huntingdon their entire lives get to dish it back out to us. Its certainly emotionally healthy and I can just see them walking a little taller, spit shined shoes, with a click in their heels and a top of the morning to ya as they stroll into their local grocer or williams furniture in downtown mckenzie. Good luck to you ladies friday night and I hope both teams come out injury free. :flower:

  2. I think both teams are very good with Mckenzie having somewhat of a size advantage along with more experience. Everybody keeps talking about Huntingdons passing game. What you've got to realize is they are perfectly comfortable with not throwing the ball at all. I asked Coach not long ago whats he going to do if a team stacks 8 in the box and dares him to throw and his response was "is that all, we're used to seeing all eleven". McKenzie tries to balance their offense with run and pass, Huntingdon tries to balance their offense right and left. This is a great matchup and I for one am glad that Mckenzie has got it going over there, it certainly spices things up. :D

  3. Oh god here we go. I'm just stating the obvious. I said that JB was better than WC but they were no better than UC or h-town. Don't get your panties in a wad boys. We all may get beat before we have to worry about it then some other morons with to much time can post on these boards just like we'uns. :roflol: Besides that, mr. mustangs gonna apologize for me anyway.

  4. Never argue with people who can't spell "they".

Can we please not comment on spelling and grammar on these boards this is not school. People are typing fast. You know what he meant so give it a rest. :roflol::shock:

No, we must comment. Thats the only way to fix the educational system. We can't let it slide.

  5. They are pretty tough and they have one of, if not the best player in 1A. Mr Kennan Holder is probably going to win Mr. Football this year.

I wouldn't bet the farm on that. He is at best a distant third right now for the award.

Whoa, whoa, whoa! My sources say he leads. Better recheck those stats. States all time single game rushing leader, leading rusher in the state, plays better teams, etc etc etc..... Huntingdon=Mr. football Rb's. :roflol:

  6. You need to look at Kennan Holder of Huntingdon. This young man is unstoppable at RB. He dominates games from the tailback position. I will guarantee you that Huntingdon would not be looking at a run for the state championship without him.

Unstoppable??? :roflol: I know one D that would be up to the challenge of shutting him down....He probably is a good running back though aint taking nothing away from him

I hope your big mouths get the chance. :roflol:

  7. Remember, the top seeded teams will be taken care of first. Thusly, Huntingdon would not be denied a bye week one even if MAHS won, it would not matter. The TSSAA would put Huntingdon in quad 4 and more than likely move a wildcard team to quad 3. Easily justified by the fact that MAHS only plays 7 games etc. etc etc. Remember this, the TSSAA will ultimately do what will make them the most money and putting Union City by themselves in a quad with cupcakes does not do that.
