  1. Will Linder from Ravenwood High. Can do it all! One of the most complete players in the state. His engine never stops! Also, Brentwood foward Kenny Ra. Can score and has the fastest feet in the business!

ya kenny is super aggressive. great talent in middle tennessee these days. gotta watch out for whit grey of hendersonville too.. he is a hoss (sp?)

  2. Exum is a good player but come on.... you are talking him up alot here. He is obviously the leader of the station camp team but I dont think he would be as big if he played for a brentwood or a bearden...

Its because big poppa IS jacob exum.

And for players to watch, Drew Lewis is a really solid defender at Hendersonville. He has recently signed with Trevecca also.

  3. What is Hendersonville's preseason like (if you don't mind me asking). I like to see what other schools do to prepare...

The players tell me its really difficult. The other student athletes give them mad respect and think Coach Plummer is really demanding. From what i hear, people are throwing up a lot.

  4. Poppa,

a few questions about your Station Camp Bison

    1. Who is the transfer from Hendersonville? is he a former jv player or played club ball instead of high school? i have not heard of him but that doesnt mean anything

    2. Besides Maddox, Harrison, and Crawley from JPII and Kelly and Tummons from HHS I havent heard of anyone in the area being looked at heavily by colleges. Exum must be a top notch player to be considered by South Florida. ill have to come watch some games this year /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />

    3. is this the same harrison that played for the metros club team?

Sounds like Station Camp should be a team to watch not only in Sumner County but Middle Tennessee

The transfer from Hendersonville must have not been a big deal because he was never on the team at HHS. Maybe he didnt want to go through Hvilles preseason. ha

  5. Where is the JP II coach from? His name is Nordic, and I understand his team plays a very European style.

Hendersonville has alot of passion. They have good support from their students, who travel to nashville to watch their games. Watch out for them...

  6. WHITE HOUSE HAS A LOT OF THEM . MATTHEW PARKER, CHAD NEAL, TROX GREENWADE , BLAINE BOONE, MATTHEW GOSSETT, AUSSIE LIGHT. ALL OF THEM ARE GREAT PLAYERS AND THEY HAVE SEVERAL MORE ALSO.

YAZZIE IS GOOD, BUT PUT MATTHEW PARKER ON HVILLES TEAM AND YAZZIE WOULD BE AN AFTER THOUGHT.

after thought?? ya, thats why he was on the east vs west allstar game and was voted mvp of the game... and he was voted captain of the west by his teammates. so forget middle tennessee...hes the best in the whole state.

  7. you wanna talk about classless? how about how dirty the mighty commandos were and how many cheap shots they took? thats classless. im pretty sure if you got points for cheap shots h'ville might have actually been able to score more than 14 points and maybe win. but too bad the rebels let all their play do the talking and drive after drive cross the goaline for SIX! h'ville was just completely outmatched.

next friday will be the game of the year!!!!!!

ok thats cool. congrats on having a better football team than us... do you want a medal for it??? i dont care i still know that my school is still the coolest place on the planet and i still love hhs. were just gonna look forward to spring, when our mens soccer team takes the state by storm like they do every year.

and also i would like to congradulate the hendersonville ice hockey team tonight, on dominating the back to back state champions, JP2. they beat them 3-1. so ya Hendersonville...... now and always will be, the tightest school in the state.

and if you want to say sumner county isnt good at football... beech won tonight, station camp, and whitehouse, prolly some others.. so that arguement is settled.

  8. typical classless williamson county people who believe they are above everyone else. its the brentwood and franklin way. and this does not mean your region is better. dificulty of regions changes all the time. none of you could argue that your region was better in the 90s. yours may be better this year but dont act like region 6 is always gonna be better than region five. just like alabama is better than tennessee this year. but we all know that eventually, tennessee will be better. so get of your typical williamson county high horse for once. but ya i bet franklin wins state this year. they were impressive.

  9. Thats also what every school in Williamson County looks like at home, not a big deal.

Franklin runs away with this one in the second half as always with some huge plays.

    Franklin 31

    Hendersonville 7

oo ya thats why there was only one school from williamson county that were in the tennesseean. if you didnt know, hendersonville was in there. NO ONE has pride like Hendersonville. cuz we cant hide that commando pride. and if you think its gonna be 31 to 7 franklin... you are nuts.

  10. was not ravenwood voted # 1 and how come you didnt even fill ur own stands ( heard that it was due to other games in the county ) but still no excuse

look at my signature... thats what real #1 fans look like. and our stadium was pretty full. there were a few spots in the top corners of the stadium that were patchy. if im not mistaken beech had a home game and so did station camp. so there were some casual fans that might not have been there. but the alumi and parents and diehards were there. this week it should be packed.

also there are alot of adults who chill at the fenceline instead of sitting in the stands.

  11. have advatage over them on all sides of the ball, homefield amounts to nothing as Rebels been at vandy this year,Mccallie, and of course the other Williamson county schools (where unlike HHS cant fill thier own side of the bleachers, but reason due to other county games )

HHS lives on the poor us, our special wing-t - look at common opponets played this year will tell u alot and what to see this friday......

    GO REBS

Your from Hendersonville?? ooo i see... he must be one of those illiterate beech kids.

  12. The Ravenwood crowd was 3 X better than the Commando crowd. The football boosters and others in the stands were talking about how the small group of R'wood fans were louder than the home side. I saw Ravenwood a few years ago against HLane and they brought enough to fill up the visitor side 4 deep and had the hill full and they were loud and proud.

H'ville fans? Where were they last Fri Night? I've been to playoff games in OR, DB, Maryville, Red bank, Farragut and others and that's the worse home field side I've been on. Lots of seats not filled and quiet crowd. I've stood in 6 in;s of mud and rain coming down at Red Bank watching DB get beat and the stands were packed on both sides.

    Why were the stands not packed? It wasn't that cold. /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />

if you were actually sitting with the war team during the game you wouldve know that we were the best fans that day by far. the ravenwood fans were horrible. when they scored the couldnt even run in the right order. to us it looked like... SROTPAR.... we were just like... "idk what they teach down there in brentwood, but we read left to right. lol. maybe they were doing it for their crowd i guess.

  13. Here's a take from a raptor fan just now out of mourning. !st, congrats to H'ville on the win. Yazzie is much more than advertized and without him H'ville is sitting at home this week. That said, RHS' special teams are putrid! That's where the game was won by H'ville. Franklin's kicker will put most if not all of kickoffs (expect many of these) into the endzone which will negate Yazzie's return potential. Punts (which there will be few) are much better than RHS weak kicks and coverage is much better. So much for the "hidden yardage". When RHS mixed the run and pass, H'ville was simply lost and only effective when the run or pass was obvious. At those times they were good. If the H'ville D gives up 17 to RHS, FHS will at least double that score. FHS- double Yazzie in the pass routes or put #8 on him and the HHS offense will have little punch, On offense, don't throw Yazzie's way and you will have a field day, throw at him and it may well be a pick 6. BTW, when a #1 seed has to come from behind, then hang on for a win over a #4 seed, it's kind of silly for your fans to chant "overrated"...unless they were chanting to their own team. Bitter you ask,....yup but mainly disappointed in the Raptors. Good luck and health to both sides. I predict a Rebel win 31-7....Yazzie will get 1 TD despite FHS' best efforts to stop him...he's that good and deserved the Titans Player of the Week honor. Rebels, you have absolutely no excuse if you don't bring home the Gold ball this year! Good luck and I'll be watching.

umm just to clarify... we were chanting overrated because ravenwood was voted the number 1 student section in the midstate and hendersonville was voted number 3. this was in the tennesseean. our student body knew this and wanted to send a message that we are the best student section. and also we had to fight back against a number 4 seed because they were not a typical number 4 seed. 4 seeds usually stink, but this was a really good team.

so we were chanting overrated to the opposing fans because they were voted number 1

  14. Nothing to chill about, U just Someone asked that the difference was and I answered the Question. Enough said and Im not your Dude

it would be great if you knew how to type your feelings in a proper way.. but you dont seem to be very good at it... "U just someone asked that the difference was".... i mean really? i cant really argue with someone that can't properly write a sentence. good try tho, i think i got your point anyways.... DUDE.

  15. WHATS THE DIFFERENCE?

Ill tell you what the difference is. The difference is a running back with 1300 yards (Ford) and one with 800( Lee). The difference is A quarterback nominated for Mr 5A football(Nichols). The difference is an offensive line that flat out opens holes for these running backs to run,(Jackson aka mark the shark, Walkup...many others. and gives Nichols all day to throw. The difference is 2 receivers (Eaton and Starnes) That no one can cover. The difference is a defense that plays with heart and AS A TEAM, which is stronger than individual players alone. The Difference is the Donnie Webb Factor. The difference is Taking your Yazzie? out of the special teams by kicking touchbacks and skying punts(Gentry) The difference is The Humbleness of Franklin, No show boating on the 1 yard line( 2 years ago), Just hard Smash Mouth Football.

    WHATS THE DIFFERENCE?

    FRANKLIN WINS IN 08

dude chill, its gonna be a really close game. both of these teams are really similar... they both play smash mouth football and they both have alot of playmakers. im rootin for hhs (the underdog) on this one
