Your right IndyEagle09, 16-3 and ranked in the AP Top 10 is way too big for Franklin's britches? This coming from a program that has zero signifigant wins! You played Franklin close with no Starnes and basically no Peyton Henry, that was your one chance, and you blew it. Maybe the coaches and players should quit shoving each other on the bench?

I will say this, student sections that have "BOO GUYS" should be commended. Rowdy student sections make basketball fun! I give the IHS students props for that. I wish Franklins' students had some life, VERY BORING! As for Franklin: Game was very unusual. Its seems Franklin is "Jekyl and Hyde". I must give credit to IHS, the eagles played with more emotion and "grit" most of the time, until the Rebels made that 4th quarter run. Reed Glovers' pass to Haddix was sick, plain and simple. Word of advice to Rebels,,,,, STAY OUT OF FOUL TROUBLE! We will find out alot about the Rebels Friday and Saturday; @ Hillsboro and home against (Columbia:very good). As for Young, you can't be perfect every game, he is the teams leader and still was a big part of the "W", yes the WIN. Moving on after an ugly win is better than moving on after an "ugly" loss. I thought Franklin coach J. Johnson handled himself well. He had a sick PG, (a suspended starter in Starnes), tons of foul trouble, terrible officials, and a district road "rowdy crowd game" and the REBELS still found a way to win. Can anybody tell me how the Rebels started playing this well? What was the comp like in Florida? What does the lineup look like now? I'd say it's goodnight time for d-11 AAA........ Did phillyfan take a vacation????

Okay, all this Temple hype coming in and you are going to blame a car ride, a late game, and having to watch a bad game before tip off? Why did Temple think "they had it in the bag"? Explain that? Franklin has seniors who are not only good basketball players but who "SHARE THE BASKETBALL". What a concept!!! Are you seriously dogging James Haddix? The kid had 19 pts, and your big is D-1???? Haddix is dropping 18pts a night, with a AAA schedule and on a team where all 5 starters can score double figures. Nobody on Franklin is a "ball-hog"! That's a credit to Franklins' coaching staff. They have the whole roster buying in to a system, a TEAM system. Can Temple fans not admit that Franklin was, and is the better team? Franklin still hasn't played their best yet, can't wait to see them peak. ps (can't believe phillyfan isn't in on this)

The refs were bad, but I believe Temple whined more than any team I have seen in a long time, pouted alot too! Franklin was just too much to handle.

The "Real Franklin Rebels" stood up tonight! Some people on here thought the Rebels were in trouble, but they had 2 huge spurts in the ballgame which led to a 84-68 victory. Thought this was head coacH Jay Johnsons' best game of the year. He had to work around foul trouble because the refs called everything. What can you say about Peyton Henry, who??????? Hard to tell what kind of team Franklin is with a 12 man rotation at the moment. I know they win about 25 games a year and have about 7 seniors with a ton of experience.

Someone needs to lay off the coffee. I am sorry that you and I have different opinions. I did not know that we had to check with "philly boy" before we started posting. I do feel like the rotation Franklin is using is "WILD" right now. 11 People going in, out, in, out, in, out..... you get the picture. The Rebels should be full speed starting this Thursday. Maybe 3 days of practice will be good for Glover and Starnes. It just seemed like Franklin or "we" were just chugging along during the BGA game. No offensive flow at all. Hopefully the Rebels will start putting up some points!

Just when you think "philly boy" is making sense, he makes this comment "have the same kids as last year" I don't see Kegarise bombing threes anymore? Maybe that's one of the problems? Franklin demolished BGA again last night. James Haddix led all scorers with 17. Franklin played everybody on the bench it seemed like. It was almost like watching hockey line changes.

Help me out here fellas, who is this "philliyfan guy"???? All he does is bash other programs and tout his beloved Franklin Rebels, how great the players and coach is etc....etc..... Franklin is very good, but this phillyfan guy is dillusional. It's not like Franklin is North Carolina?

Thoughts on this weekend for the Franklin Rebels. 6'4 F Starnes will back Friday, not sure how much he'll play due to the fact his first practice is today. 6'3 G Reed Glover should be able to go. Once Starnes and Glover are ready to go full speed, I'd have to say Franklin can have a special season. They have about 7 guys who could start, does anybody know who will start once Starnes and Glover get to game speed? Haddix has been lights out good this year, nice to have a 6'8 big man who can score and rebound! I here Ravenwood is small, have to take the Rebels in this one.
