  1. Tullahoma beat Lincoln Co.

Shelbyville I'm sure beat Columbia - seeing how Columbia probably had the whole team in Cookeville lol

    Lawrence played Franklin Co.

I think Lawrence won by 35. Hmm. What were the other scores?

  2. Mitchell's defense if FAR from Bad, just not on the same level of Craigmont. The gap between Craigmont's D and Mitchell's D isn't as far as the gap between the offenses. Even so, the Mitchell O doesn't have to be on the field often to put up points.

But if LC's offense controls the game the way the have during the 9-game winning streak then Mitchell won't be on the field. LC will end up wearing down Mitchell's defense and win this game. "I think." Only if they run the football the way they have been though.

  3. 9 definitely has to be on Malone all night. Maybe put your LB #6 underneath and have 9 over the top for deep balls. He got up there to make that pick at the end of the game. Good luck against that tough Mitchell squad.

#6 is a strong safety. Plays at the line most the time. Just saying though. Lol. But is all over the field as you saw Friday night.

  4. If Mitchell's defense isn't good, then their offense will hardly see the field. Since everybody knows LC runs the WingT, then their going to pound the football right at you and make you stop them. Then if Mitchell can't stop them then how are all the playmakers going to get on the field? Especially if it rains. But good luck to both teams.

  7. I made it over to the Lawrence Co. and Shelbyville game last night and was very impressed with the Wildcats rushing attack behind a massive offensive line. Their kicker and special teams overall looked very, very weak, so that could haunt them at some point. Shelbyville has certainly improved as well and still can make the playoffs as a wildcard if they win out, which is a real possibility. Where in the world were all the Lawrence Co. fans? Shelbyville had it packed on their side, but it was an extremely embarrassing showing for the Wildcat fans for a team that had a four-game winning streak coming in and is playing maybe the best football ever down there. This is a town that claims to really love its team, but I guess it may be proof that it is just a basetball school. I was amazed that so few made the trip and the band did not even come! For a big district game against a longtime rival. Unexcusable for that team to not get better support, especially as good as they are this year. They deserve better down there.

Well no fans showed up because it was fair day in town.. and quite a few people were sick with the flu bug going around down here last week.. thats why no fans showed up.. fan support has been wayy better this year.. and i hope you meant to type basketball school instead of baseball lol not many fans appear at baseball games.. just thought i'd throw that out there  go law co hi

  8. Lebanon could really scare Columbia, if not pull the upset. I see that game being just as close as the Shelbyville-Cookeville game. Columbia is coming off an emotional district championship and has not been a top seed in a good while. They may tighten up some and Lebanon, on the other hand, will place loose. If I had to bet (and I don't), I'd say all the top seeds win, but you never know in a one-game elimination setup. Oakland and Siegel will both win by 20-plus, while I think Shelbyville and Columbia will pull through in the fourth quarter. Should be fun, and for Twilley's sake, I hope Shelbyville gets by Cookeville. It would be extremely sad for his career to end because of some showboat ref with an agenda. Plus, a Shelbyville-Siegel matchup would be a lot of fun once again.
