theres talk about Cody Blihovde being a RB, I think he'd be a great RB he's a fast and very tough kid. The defense will be fine the only thing they will need to figure out is who will be a primary WR. someone at that position will absolutly have to step up. personally I think Cody will be a better WR then RB but cant go wrong at either one.

well golden Tate for Notre Dame who is a former JP2 stud had 6 catches for over 150 yards and 3 TD's in their first bowl victory since 1994. Golden played great tonight.

Marvin used to play RB/LB at ensworth till he came to Hillsboro. I hear he's getting looked at for FB and or LB. He'll def play ball somewhere next year.

Can't forget about Hillsboro OL/DT Christian Heyne, heart and soul of the line this year. Hillsboro could put ALOT of kids on the 4A dream team.

The coach would have to be Coach Blade. Underdogs in both semi and state game and came out both times with a W.

Hillsboro's sophmore's which will be juniors next year win the city championship when they were freshman so the talent and speed will still be with hillsboro. They will have great players like QB young LB/RB Aaron Bryant and a bunch of other great players. Only thing hillsboro will be loosing is EXP which really helped Hillsboro out this year, But still there was alot of sophmores and juniors that got alot of playing time this season. Future is stillvery bright

and Oak Ridge's is good. They would be pretty good if their coach Bruce Lussier didn't go to Father Ryan. Think he's jelous he didnt get that STATE SHIP!!

I was freezing my butt off being painted up with my boys spelling out HILLSBORO. I was hoping for a great close game and i got it. I think the D MVP shoulda gone to the whole Hillsboro team just wasn't right giving it to one player even though LB #2 Aaron Bryant played lights out with 12 tackles a INT and a FF. Maryville came out playing great on D and should be happy the way they played on defense.

Does anybody know where I can watch some of the Highlights of the game? It was the state ship there has to be a video somewhere.

papa chaos very nice post you did there, Hillsoro's defense has been playing there best since the playoffs lately since we got a bunch of injured players back. Got alot of speed back. i don't think either team will reach the 30 point mark cause both teams play GREAT D. Still i wouldn't be suprised if i see one of the teams reach the 30 point mark. Both teams are very capable of putting big time points up. I think the underdog team in Hillsboro will win this game, but what do I know i'm a Hillsboro fan.....

Don't know why yall are predicting Hillsboro to only score 12 points. yall are crazy. I've seen tape on Maryville and they're very well coached, but Hillsboro's offense is better IMO.

No disrespect to Gordon but he was outplayed by Teague all night. They went head to head twice and he lost both battles. First time was on Teague's long run from scrimmage and he left Gordon standing still at the safety position and the 2nd time Teague was covering him downfield and came away with the int. Marsalis outplayed Gordon all night long and was the best and fastest athlete on the field! 3 TD's for Teague 1 run, 1 pass, and 1 kick return. By the way, the pass he threw beat Gordon also because Gordon was covering the reciever. The main reason he didnt do more damage than he did was due to poor blocking. With that being said, I believe Gordon to be a tremendous athlete and game changer and HC came with a game plan to limit his touches. HHS has tremendous team speed and their D recovers fast. They also do a great job of wrapping up at point of contact. I do not think they are the hardest hitting team HC faced but they are the fastest and best tackling team on a whole. Have not seen Maryville play this year but you have to give them due respect! A team just doesnt roll off a record of 72-0 and have a lack of talent. Great coaching can only get you so far. You have to have talent on the field! Good luck to both teams, you have both "EARNED" the right to be where you are. Please dont take this post as being sour grapes or sore loser I am just stating what I observed. I wouldn't say he outplayed gordon at yall, Both played very good. other than teagues long run and kickoff when the coverage broke down he didnt much at all. The best athlete on the field was Corey Jordan who had over 100 yards recieving and 2 td's and Aaron Bryant the LB who had over 15 tackles. Gordon had 4 BIG TIME 3 down catches to continue the drive and ran the ball 5 times on 3rd down to move the chains, sounds to me he was doing alot. both Teague and Gordon played good IMO. We've got alot more playmakers then HC so we didnt exactly have to use him as much as yall thought. Now for Maryville who are yalls playmakers and what can i expect to see come gameday? do yall have any videos or highlights online that i can watch?

any videos online of maryville that i can see? my buddy went to a camp at vandy that yalls QB was at and said that he's big and is very good.

Have you seen Maryville play? I have not seen HHS play so I won't be so presumptuous as to make any predictions other than my desire for a Maryville win. I think you must know a great deal about Maryville based on your astute observations about Maryville's size and lack of speed.

never said they lack speed im just saying that Hillsboro's very fast. 5 guys 4 guys with 4.4 speed and 7 with 4.5-4.6 speed. This is Hillsboro's fastest team yet. Look up Corey jordan, Alex Crutcher, and big time recruit Eric gordon on Unapproved Website or ESPN.com recruiting section. ESPN is your best bet for Eric and Alex. but i didn't intend for what i said to mean yall lack speed. yall won 74(?) games for a reason. Hillsboro will be faster then Maryville, but I think maryville has the size advantage and they will be very disiplined like they always are. This game will be alot closer then the Maryville fans think. The O's will both out up points its up to the defenses and Hillsboro's Defense is very fast. Teague couldnt move around the pocket and run around like he always does. only run he had was1st play for 64 yards, after that nothing.

I'm sure all teams have their share of classless fans but along with the ones that do things right. So whats Teague going to do now? does he play basketball or any other sports? What college is this kid most likely going to?

Hillsboro will suprise you with your team Henry Co. didn't believe it when i said it but their skilled position players are almost always faster then the other teams. I will say that Maryville will probally have the bigger line. This game will be great Hillsboro knows what their getting into. Some of these players exp the loss to Maryville a few years back.

I will also like to say thank you to Henry Co. fans..most of the time on here when your team loses(like Boski) they get on here and talk down on the team that just beat them but not HC their rootin for us. I repect yall alot. Yall brought ALOT of fans to Hillsboro lol! some of the best fan support i've seen in high school footbhall in a long time.

So how about #2 Aaron Bryant for Hillsboro tonight on defense running around sacking Teague 2 times and also had 5 TFL's going with his total 17 tackles. So did Allen not play tonight? Didn't see a big RB running around tonight. im serious...
