It is pretty clear once again the best teams in the state come from quads one and two. Giles and East Hamilton would clearly beat Covington, Greenevile possibly would as well.

The only team from rural West TN that I see that could go down to Memphis and possibly beat Manassas would be Obion. Obion would have to dictate the tempo in order to be able to beat Manassas.

 

Covington wouldn't stand a chance with Manassas. No offense to them.

If they were to play, I think Livington Academy or Upperman could play with OC or Manassas.

LA has won their last two games at the line with ten seconds or less to go.

I think they can. Now that the A.P. poll is out, this truly does make this a super-match up. #1 vs. #3. WOW!

JCHS by 10. Too much shooting from the outside by JC. LA can't fight enough with the inside presence of JC if they use her correctly and play inside out basketball.

Any given night, anyone can win. Jackson County didn't shoot nowhere near as good as last time they played. Jackson county cruised last time and did the first half of this one. But LA just outplayed them in the second half. Very good game with two very good teams.

Can LA defend the home Court?

It was an 11 point loss in Gainsboro. Can coach Riddle come up with a game plan to win over Coach Brown?

I was hoping they would have it at Upperman. Though RBS isn't in the district anymore I miss the battles and the atmosphere at Upperman. When I go to LA for the tournaments now I just don't get that same vibe.

livingston is a good place to play.

be glad pickett co don't play stone. it would be very bad. stone is a very good team. and don't judge livingston on one game + them boys playin for pickett co form livngston are good players but they wouldn't have made a difference that night at stone. good luck to the bobcats.

I would have Upperman higher than Livingston and Macon County will a lot better since Gregory is back.

Why do you think that Upperman should be higher than LA?

Livingstons starters are playing very well and they have some sophs and freshmen that are giving great minutes of the bench.

It will all be played out in the White Co. gym, District 8AA and Reg. 4AA.

Did you seriously bring up win-loss records & win percentage? I won't get into the whole political thing again. Based on pure coaching Melton was the best. Anyone and everyone knows that. No point in bringing all that up again. I'm not going to do the homework for you, but go back and tally the margin of victory against district opponents while Melton was coaching and let me know what you find out.

 

If saying we are under-achieving makes me a downer, then I don't care to carry that title. I enjoy the game of basketball more than most. It is everyone's political views that have messed it up for these kids.

I seriously did and did politics cause the kids lose all those games? melton has had nothing but pure talent and now there are no dunns, wests, smiths tj or todd. but i do think he was a good coach but its not the same this season. who is the leader on this team. coaches cant make leaders thats sumthing that your born with. this team has talentbut nobody is taking the team on their back like those mentioned have dunn in the past. are you on the train or not debbie
