i have not seen very many well called games this year in all honesty both sides played pretty rough the coach from forrest made the lady pretty mad by running his mouth which is no surprise that is what he is known for. but the refs didnt beat forrest they beat themselves they came out flat in the second half and could not get back in the game. just like they did last year in the region.

First off, she wasn't a lady. Second, where do you get your information that the Forrest coach is known for running his mouth? That was the only technical he has had all year. And last, he didn't get a technical for running his mouth, he slapped the floor with his hand. What other stupidity would you like to spout?

We know we lost. What's your point? As far as our coach keeping his mouth shut, yeah right. He is just supposed to sit there while the idiot ref makes up another call. He did what he had to do to stand up for his players. Your coach would have done the same.

i dnt think mcewen has won a game all year do too mhmmmm "home cookin" i think mcewen has a great ball team which they proved once again tonight with a once again W over forrest who are the MOST unclassy pple on the face of the earth...really guys wearing a (remember me?) shirt just to represent the unclassyness yall showed to them last year when starting a fight over the game which they also one. as for the game both teams played hard mcewen was just the better team. 10a will once again own state this year

Forrest fans were warned about the type of officiating we would get at McEwen. The warning was correct. Did you give the game ball to the female ref? She is the worst I have seen in 20 years. Any comments from any McEwen fan who was actually at the game?

Are all healthy at Forrest now>? Seems Huntland got by Forrest on a down night. Im sure they are kicking themselfs for not winning it all. Huntland will have to play a very good Heritage team that lost to McEwen in their gym with some questional ahemmm home cookin refs. But that is basketball at times.

Here is how I see it playing out.

 

Eagleville over Nashville Christian...Unless NCS has one of their ripping nights from behind the arc.

 

Clarksville Aca. over Cascade. Bar none.

 

Forrest over McEwen if they are all healthy...and those same refs are not back at Mcewen

 

White House Heritage over Huntland. I have heard it is tough to play at Huntland as well. Any comments about that.

 

So, 2-2. Each dist gets 2 into the next round.

 

Bishop kid is still not 100% for Forrest. Hopefully he will be for McEwen game. As far as playing Huntland at Huntland, they are hard to beat at their place. You won't get any calls either. They have two shooters that you must stop or you don't have a chance. Stop them and you stop Huntland. If you don't, you will have a long night. Clarksville Academy should not have a hard time with Cascade unless they overlook Cascade's two big scorers. If they get hot, it could get interesting.

which player is corey bishop? Is he the PG or the lefty shooter?

Corey plays the #2 guard. He was missed not only for his scoring but for his basketball "smarts". From the games I have seen Forrest play this year, I haven't seen him miss a free throw yet. I hope he is back for the remainder of the season. Good luck to all 9A teams Friday night and the region also.

Yep sure did--we lost to Wayne Cco at Wayne Ccounty by 90-49----nothing to hide there. It was an aberition of what Summertown really is. In my 21 years of following Summertown, it is by far the worst performance Ii have ever seen from them. EVER... That said, if a team that loses by 41 beats another team, that team definitely doesnt deserve to be ranked no more than the team that got beat by 41. I have said Fofrrest wasnt even the best team out of their district, and wow, I was correct. Ii also have called out Columbia Academy who is ranked in the top 6 week in and week out and has lost to that same team that lost by 41-CA lost to them TWICE. Props to Forrest for gaining a split with them ROFLOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Huntland vs Eagleville for the championship Friday night at 7:30. Been really disappointed with everyones crowd. Lets pack the gym and support our schools. I will pick the Hornets again. They are hard to beat at the Hornets nest.

Congrats, Rebelboy, on Huntland's win. I wish #30 could have played for Forrest but it is what it is. He was out with the flu, I heard. That takes nothing away from Huntland. They played great. Good luck Friday night and for the remainder of the season.

I doubt I would put Forrest in that list... Not that they are not a good team, but they are in no way on the same level as Humboldt and CSAS...

I do not see CA getting knocked out before the state tournament... I think that CA might get upset if they draw for the tournmanet and have to play three tough games in a row...

Clarksville Academy beat Forrest last year by 5 on a neutral court. CA was down by 1 with 2 minutes to go. Basically the same players for both teams this year. Anything can happen come tournament time.

That is what I am hearing.

 

Anybody got a final on Eagleville and Boyd?

A few years ago, Huntland was to host the district and TSSAA overruled it because of seating capacity. Has Huntland increased the seating capacity of their gym?

What do I question about the Forrest record? How about Moore County, Eagleville, Huntland? How about the lack of decent teams played and already being beaten by Summertown and just this week by Huntland. Forrest is not legit and ha no place in the Top 10 Ditto for Columbia Academy.

Summertown beat Forrest at home by 5 and Huntland won at home by 2 in three overtimes. I don't know if Forrest belongs or not because I haven't seen alot of the other teams play but I do know that alot of your comments are idiotic.

Home team loses but that is six against one. Eagleville home tonight against Cascade. Forrest and MC hook up today also. Any other make-up games today?

Forrest wins over Moore County by 25 tonight.

I never said PC beat Forrest I said Stown did and PC beat Stown. And you saying Forrest and Stown are pretty even just proves my point that both PC and Stown are probably just as good as anyone on this poll. PC is a Top 2 team.

I would agree that Summertown and Perry County are probably as good, although I haven't seen the majority of the teams play. Have you?

Looks like all the picks were correct. Huntland must have shot it well. Forrest/Community closer than expected. Cascade/MTCS much more than expected.

Forrest did not play their starters for the 4th quarter but Community played hard.

These are just completely ridiculous, Summertown has beat both Forrest and Colombia Academy and Perry County beat them as well as beating Lake Co by 14. Perry County only has one loss with all its players dressed out and ready to play. Perry County and Summertown are probably just as good as anybody on this poll.

Perry County has not played Forrest. Summertown beat Forrest at their place by 5 points. Rematch at Forrest coming up. Both teams are about even.

Im picking the Hornets by 8 over eagleville and cascade by 4 over forrest. Both games should be good ones to watch.

Forrest beat Lancaster Christian by 13 in the Eagleville Tournament yesterday. Forrest plays Gordonsville today. What about the other 9a schools? How are they doing?
