Gotta agree with earlier posts. Mike Wright from Morristown East is the real deal. Flatford from Cosby, in my opinion is also a close second. It's not always about wins and losses. These coaches I speak of have taken talent which is probably 2nd or 3rd place talent in their respective leagues and both are playing for district titles tonight. went to sc vs dekalb game and although there were 3 refs there, appalled that NONE of them got the crowd off the floor. One player throwing in the ball got shanked by a fan!!! Now tell me how three refs missed that!!!!!!!!

"SHANKED"???? Don't believe the stabbing or "shanking" of a student athlete falls under the duties of a game official. maybe but the way im thinking is ..... look at the talent she has now at UT that are Fresh or Soph. once they get seniors all she'll really need is roleplayers kind of like the alex fuller situation is currently+

Agreed. She probably becomes a role player in Knoxville...but while she was off at the Ladie's Classic, I saw her play a couple of years ago at Lipscomb in the DII state, and the girl can play. I think she may have been sick at the Ladie's Classic. There was one game where she didn't leave the bench, although she was dressed out. Word was she was under the weather during the tournament. That is girl is an absolute joke if you are referring to the one that played for Lausaunne in the Ladies Classic over Christmas break down in Greeneville. She's quick but thats about it. She could not finish around the basket , no perimeter jumpshot . I would take about 5-7 girls out our conference before i would even think about giving here a look.

Maybe you would, but Coach Summitt obviously thinks differently. Willing to bet she has a lot more experience evaluating D1 talent than yourself.

And Hampton took the starters out against North Greene up 25, but if you think they are good, thats cool with me. I don't believe you wanna talk about football. This was Hampton's worst year in forever and they still won the conference although it was a tie. And Hampton has come close to 30-2. Hampton does have a state championship, 2 or 3 state runner-ups, and has been to the state tournament more times than anybody that I know of in East Tennessee 1A and I don't even think it's really close. Cosby has had some good teams, but if there has been a team to beat in East Tennessee here lately it would have to be Unaka. They may be down now, but for a while they were going to state every year...

PG Marcus Stewart (Jr.) from Cocke County is pretty tough. They also have a couple of freshmen coming up who could make this list in the near future in Krys Cates and Brandon Davis.

Not bitter at all...please re-read. I gave CC their due. They played great and we didn't. But, I have a real problem with these refs (anywhere they are calling a game). They were horrible and when they aren't consistant, players get frustrated and many times are injured when things get out of hand. That's not acceptable. well thank goodness for 2 cents........wont buy much! Livesay was waving orrick to get out and stop the ball earlier instead of reacting late...and east cut the lead to 10 in 3rd quarter(37-27) quite a bit past the tip....wanna see the tape? what you've heard and what you've been told... ha ha try watching and making your own assessments.

Well...I'm sure that Livesay would NEEEEEEEVER "wave off" an official...hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
