Well Mr. username with this statement you sound like you do not know what you are talking about. Have you ever played basketball. These guards are good they know what they are doing. When they get stopped they know what to do with the ball. Now to the post situation, is not hurt. His pride might be hurt because he let a guy half his size push him around. ONE of the reasons that he does not get the ball is because he does not work hard enough to get the ball.The SECOND reason is because when he does get the ball he does not make a good enough move to score. And he does not need to quit, you are saying that he does THAT IS THE STUPIDEST THING THAT I HAVE EVER HEARD. Quiting is the easy way out and once he starts working harder for the ball and if they still do not get him the ball he needs to talk to the guards and if that does not work I know that the coaches will get on them. and GOD does give talent, but he will help people that help that help their self. well he might have been bothered by a prior injury but that done mean that u dont go in the game. He might have lost some playing time because there was a 5 foot nothing guard guarding him and the post you speak of could not score he has to want to play and not chickin out when someone pushes him a little.

well i also feel good about Hamptons chances, but I would not count out Cloudland and Unaka. Unaka is not a bad team they had many return. They also have those big boys and with saying that their 2-3 zone is tuff. And Cloundland really never starts the season off good, but Ned Smith and Bradon Carpenter always find a way to have their boys ready to play when the season is coming to an end. Hampton will have to really work hard and put these last few loses behind them. Dawg for Life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well for one is because i can and two i have permission from the players to post their names on this site. and adam triplett has already turned his jersey in. well formerdogg how would you feel if you was one of the players and your name was getting posted in this talk.. you would not like it and i know who are and you would not like it if i posted your real name on here would you so i suggest you quit talking about the players like you do

well quiting is not the best thing to do. they would regret it for the rest of their days. it would also show people that they are a quiter. the best thing for that person to do is work harder and show the coaches that they can be a player and they can take care of the ball.

You are correct, but you dont have to be vocal to be a leader. A player can be a leader by his actions and the way they goes about their self. the way the practice and the way they act off the court. it is hard to be a leader as a young player because you almost have to be a asst. coach. you have to know how far you can push certain players and being young you may not know how to do that to the older players. i have seen many players think that they were the leader and just yell and scream all the time and it did nothing for the others. for this team to be as good as people say they can be one of the seniors needs to step up and become the leader.

well i will say this i dont know who the two boys are that are wanting to quit. i will also say this, a player cant handle a little butt chewing they dont need to have on any jersey especially from Hampton. Jerry White knows what he is doing(he is a state champion, many state appearences, and a part of the tssaa hall of fame) Mike also knows what he is doing(he finished runner up in the state championship and is ALL STATE). This is not youth club, coaches are not going to hold their hand. Problem with some players now days is that they cant handle fussing, they run to their mommys and daddys wanting them to fix it for them instead of getting out there and trying to do what the coaches ask them to do and playing ball. I am SICK of hearing about the FUSSING. These boys just ought to be thankful that Coach White aint 20 years younger because these boys have it easy. Ibelieave the team last year had the fussing and made it all the way to the Sub-State and they had MIKE and COACH WHITE as coaches. the football team has to put up with butt chewing and i dont see nobody getting on here about when one of them are wanting to quit. being as competive as the three teams are to each other, i think that the players will always come ready to play. I think it comes down to the coaches. Who gets their team more prepared for the game. And who does the best coaching during the game. I have seen many high school teams and college teams get beat because their coach just out coached the other guy.

this is a great rivalry game. this will be a great test for the bulldogs before the start the conf. i personaly hate a 2-3. it is a lazy mans d-fence. Hampton needs to be able to handle the ball pressure in the front court and box out. JC can jump out of the gym. it is not surprising me that Hampton struggles against a 1-3-1 because Hamptons 1-3-1 is really not a regular 1-3-1. it is not very difficult, but if ran right it can be deadly. Hamptons big men need to play well i think for the dawgs to have a win and foul shots will be a key. Go DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!

Saturday night the Lady Bulldogs played up at Hampton and Cloudlands coach and Unakas coach was there trying their best to get inside the mind of Hamptons coach. I really dont think that this is possible because Hamptons coach is pretty good at what he does. It would have been nice to see her play them, but i believe that this will make the team stronger and help them in the long run because weddle has been known to foul a little and this shows the team that if she does get into foul trouble and has to sit down, they are not out of the game.

I can not remember the score but i think that Hampton got beat by 3. I also heard that Hampton was 12 for 24 from the foul line. The two seniors need to start playing better because it wont be long before their basketball days are over. One of them needs to step up and be a leader.
