A very good area coach has inquired.
Who?
-
They are a very young team.
Looks like they could be very competitive with the right coach. Any word on who it might be?

I totally agree that there is a problem with coaches, not only at THS, but many other schools pushing kids to play just one sport. The 3 sport athlete is just about a thing of the past at AAA schools. Sports are becoming too specialized. I'm hoping that will change in this area. At the A level, with a limited student enrollment and budget, kids have more of an opportunity to play more than one sport. I didn't start this thread for people to get on here and bash Coach Seals. I appreciate all the time he has put in to try and make the girls bkb program at THS better. I'm sure he'll have the most stress free summer he's had in years.
Just an idea from an outsider. Maybe you should contact the last coach to have won at Tullahoma and ask him/her what they feel were the key factors that made them successful. Then when you will at least know some more insight as to what it took to win at your school. Just an idea...good luck to you guys and hope your search goes well!

Maybe the players they used to "attract" are playing in their own hometowns?
And there it is! Take the top 10 all time Eaglettes to play and then list their hometowns..bet half are not from Shelbyville. The funny part about the T-G article comments was about "how back in the day the girls supported the boys team" ...ha! On road games they would leave at halftime on their charter bus! That's hilarious!

What the future holds for this team........
I hear you guys are going into a weaker district and your junior high teams are usually pretty good so it should be ok. I know it has been a struggle in the current district so maybe this one will be better.

Who is the darkhorse of the remaining teams besides upperman and LA. King do you think macon and cannon will both win thier opening games and lose to la and upperman and thats why you wonder how they would match up or was it just a thought. Who besides the twin towers could pull off a david and goliath.
Not really excited about getting a matchup with Macon again if they win Friday night. Especially after being off and them coming off a win. Last time we played was a war with us winning the first half and them winning the second. Everyone knows that in tournament time anything can happen and it would be easy for us to look past Macon ahead to the finals so it just sets up as a possible bad scenario for my Bees.

JD must stand for Just Dumb, because that is ignorant. Upperman is not underrated, and they are not 12 points better than Livingston, except for one night. I would not think that the same team will step on the floor for Livingston. I also saw where UHS hit a bump with Macon. I have seen one bump all yaer for Livingston, and that was Upperman. Should not happen again. Livingston wins, by 12+. Also, I cannot tell you about the signs, but I can tell you this, no team has beaten Livingston Academy twice in the district in a long time. It is very rare, and having the best staff in the district makes that goal much harder than what it seems.
That was no bump. Macon had the better team that night. They spotted us 15 then beat us the next three quarters. They had the ball down 4 with a minute left and thank goodness the refs swallowed their whistles! This should be fun tonight. We need to win cause I do not want Macon in a 2/3 matchup in the semis. Go Bees!!

96-53 good game played by the wildcats. not so much by us ever since that heartbreaking lose to dekalb we havent played as good as we have before.
Big one is Friday night. Macon gave Upperman all it wanted last night. They just ran out of time. I hope we don't face them again in the tournament (meaning Upperman). Looks like 7AA is better than 8AA this year as a whole. Vandy was at our game last night I think to watch Baxter. Can't wait til Friday night! Should be one great atmosphere!

The biggest factor IMO with the Raiders this year is they are young and inexpereinced. Last year the Raiders played about all seniors, so this year team has not had a great deal of court time.
Do they have a new coach as well? Moore Co. is one of those programs that is always solid every year.

Just wondering..when was the last time Tullahoma won?
-
Does it really matter who the coach is? You play in the toughest district and region in girls basketball. How many DI players in basketball has Tullahoma had over the past 20 years? You play with the cards you are dealt and if there are no cards you can't call a re-deal. No offense to Tullahoma girls program but too much is always blamed on coaches and no one ever says they just don't have enough talent to compete. Then again, most of these posts are from parents of players or players themselves so maybe if you asked people who are not involved with the program to take a look at what you have then you would get an honest evaluation of where you are at. Coaching can only take you so far, you have to have something to work with.

This will definantly be a dog fight. Not being a fan of either and having seen both play I think each one of their strength is different, guard play for LA and post game for Upperman. The difference I think is the depth of LA and how their pressure just wears at ya but ya can't count out home court advantage. LA but "closer than the experts think" lol!

Maybe there would be some applicants if the job was posted on the TSSAA website.
