Pat Kelly, Alex Tummons and J.J. Johnson all of Hendersonville. Two Memphis signees and one Belmont. All three are very good players.
-
What are your predictions for next year?
Who are the teams to beat?
Farragut-Returning 9 starters
Brentwood/bearden/riverdale/ravenwood/clarksville/west-All look pretty good for next year
Hows hendersonville looking?
I know they lost some seniors
What do you think will happen?
Hendersonville returns two good forwards ( Reichenberger and Sprouse ), a midfield and a wing starter. They also have two very good ODP players that had limited playing time this season that will make a big difference. They both play forward on the same travel team as Mr. Linder. With Plummer's program this team will be right back in the mix again next season.
-
The teams tied earlier this season at Clarksville. I think Hendersonville has the best home crowd advantage in the state.
-
I can live with your picks and we agree on Farragut and Bearden or whoever makes it out of District 4 (Maryville ?), but I would add Cleveland to that mix and maybe Riverdale...although their out of district matches weren't anything to crow about.
Oh Yea, Your response to my calling you out....Priceless. Don't take it personal, I was just fishing for a response (Canes Style) like you were fishing for responses from the Cleveland faithful. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
Everything is cool! You are an old pro on here. I respect you and your opinion, I was just clowning. I must admit after seeing Cleveland's record and schedule they must have a good squad, but I don't think they are championship material. You know we all are wrong every now and then. If they do win I will be the first to eat crow. I travel to your town on business quite often and really enjoy it. See you.

Hey Breeze, I think the problem some are having with your statement is that its easy to say who won't win the tournament cuz 99.5% of the teams don't. You claimed it to be a fact even though the games haven't been played yet so it can't be a fact yet. They want to hear what team will win from you. If you've seen as many as you say, just tell them your prediction and be done with it.
Its simple. I'm gonna say Farragut will win this year, which means they have no chance now. Sorry about that.
I think the champion(AAA) will come down to the following: Farragut, Bearden, Ravenwood or Hendersonville. I haven't seen West but they could be a dark horse. The rest are overrated or just pretenders.

It is so easy to sit behind a keyboard and type who won't win state. It takes testicular fortitude to predict who will. Coolbreeze, do you have testicular fortitude?
You bragged about seeing the teams from both sides of the state....So man-up and enlighten us all on who will win state. We will be waiting for your visionary prediction. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
Who are you to sit behind your computer and question my manhood. Don't try to cyber bully me because I Know you wouldn't do it face to face! I stated my opinion on Cleveland, that is what this forum provides. Would you like my hotel receipts and ticket stubbs to prove that I saw the games in those cities? I never claimed that I knew who would win the state. I wish you could see the visionary prediction that I'm displaying right now.
-
Well, Coolbreeze, I take it you think your team is going to win state so why don't you enlighten us to who that will be.
You seem to have all the answers or do you just make claims without any facts to back them up. /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
I don't have a team. I'm just giving my opinion based on my knowledge of the talent in this state. I have seen many of the AAA contenders this season from Memphis to Knoxville and of course here in Nashville. If you want facts I WILL GIVE YOU FACTS. The fact is that Cleveland won't win the state tourney.
-
Cleveland's schedule shows how good they are.
Great job.
UNDEFEATED! no other TN team can say it !!!
Someone should make some shirts for the fans to wear !
They will be making shirts for you in a few weeks. They will read "wait till next year". I will crawl from Nashville if Cleveland wins the state!
-
this is a battle of the 2 titans of middle tennessee. should be a great game to watch. i give the edge to Hville.
Not much talk on this subject so I will throw in my two cents on this match up. HHS is at home but Brentwood is playing better soccer. I haven't been impressed with Hendersonville when they have faced the more talented squads.
-
You back down too easy coolbreeze. You must have some basis for your opinion. I take it from other threads that you are from Hendersonville or Brentwood. Why should they be higher?
Please don't mistake my nice words with weakness. I really meant what was said and was surprised by Riverdale's passion. I'm basing my opinion on competition and my overall knowledge of the talent in this area. It doesn't mean that I'm right, just last week I said Brentwood would beat Ravenwood. Just like Tom Petty sang "stand my ground, I wont back down! I know that Riverdale was a state tournament team last year but I think some of the teams behind them are better right now. These polls are fun to look at it all will be a moot point when the tournaments start.
-
You can go ahead and move Riverdale out of the top 25 if you want to coolbreeze. These rankings mean nothing. What matters is who shows up at game time.
Good point! I didn't mean to disrespect anyone. Been to a Riverdale game before, they have very knowledgeable and passionate fans. I was just throwing out opinions and you know what they say about opinions. I hope your guys do well! The real season will start soon.

Who will win this battle of top programs?
-
Blake Farmer from Independence High. Very smart and skilled. Completed seamless transition to defender on his travel team this year. Comes from a nice soccer family.
-
Nick Dykes - Independence - Defender
Comes from a soccer family. He is the toughest, most physical player that you will ever come up against. Any foward that has played against him can attest to this. You will have random aches the next day. Good kid.
-
I am pretty sure that nick plays for a brentwood 92 club team but im not sure about the other two...
Sprouse took the travel year off, but played last year. Don't judge him by that, he could play on almost any team that he wants. He is that good! Wanted to rest and not burn out.
-
Alex Blanton from Brentwood High. Started as a freshman for MBA and transfered to BHS this year. One of the best keepers in the state at all levels!
-
Also Cody Kammerzell for Station Camp. He has great foot skills and speed. Watch out for this explosive player
What travel team does he play on?
-
Brock Dodd(Hendersonville)
Top notch soccer player.
Has all the tools but still raw. When he puts it all together look out!
-
Will Linder from Ravenwood High. Can do it all! One of the most complete players in the state. His engine never stops! Also, Brentwood foward Kenny Ra. Can score and has the fastest feet in the business!
-
Amen, brother!Icould not have said it better.
-
I agree with Bryce Childers being one of the best Sophomores in the state. His team was runner -up but is ranked like 26th in the country. He played on my son's team and has the best foot skills in the state by far! He also has size 6'2, but is a little too nice on the field and could be more aggresive.

Alex Blanton(keeper Brentwood), Bryce Childers(forward Hendersonville) and Wil Linder(mid Ravenwood). All 3 play on the 93' Brentwood Region 3 Premiere League Champions. Those are my top 3 Juniors in the Midstate area.
