  1. CAK and CCS are my two picks for the championship. It should be a great matchup if they both make it to the finals.

Dont get me wrong whitehouse is a solid team, however, I dont think they can hang with the perennial powerhouses like ccs and cak.

  2. i must say that im glad that i made it out to this one, it was an amazing game! hats off to both alcoa, one of the best games ive ever seen.

BUT back to this, do you really want to talk about no calls? what about when alcoas number 12, brodus i believe, was grabbed by the catholic keep, grabbed by a defender as well, and then pinned down under the both of them? was there a pk called? and then the catholic pk, not only was there minor contact, how could the ref not see the obvious flop? if your going to complain about no calls, you should probably remember that alcoa probably has a whole lot more to complain about

im not complaining at all i just hate to see a ref have a huge impact on a game where two top teams are playing their hearts out. take away the bad pk call and the two no calls and u have yourself a one to one game. alcoa is an excellent team and i hope they go all the way this year and take cak down on their way.

  3. Yeah, ruined my 2-1 score with a "questionable" *coughcough* PK call. /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="

dont forget about the no call when the keeper had control of the ball, and the no call on the player offsides on the winning goal.

  4. do i get a medal? /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> lol

  5. as i stated before the last cak catholic and farragut bearden game, either team is capable of emerging victorious. both are very strong sides, and it will probably be one moment of magig, or one mistake that makes or breaks the game.

  6. Tyler will be in our prayers. Catholic needs him in order to succeed, and his club team needs him as they attempt to make it out of regionals to the national tournament. Not to mention he has a college soccer career about to start up.

  7. To be honest in big rivalry games like bearden vs farragut and cak vs catholic any side is capable of winning. Emotions and adrenaline are intense, and the crowd can tend to make an impact. My only predictions for these two games is that they will be hard fought and down to the wire. Good luck to everyone.

  8. the irish are 11-2-2. in the hendersonville tourny they tied hendersonville 1-1 and beat brentwood 1-0. it appears they are coming together when it matters the most. the cak matchup should be another great game.

  9. the juniors on crush like wilky and mishu are very good. those 2, for sure, are quality players. id be interested to know if, in fact, IU is recruiting mishu. i knew he'd be looked at by some quality schools, but congrats to him if he is getting IU's attention.

He is getting recruited by IU, NorthWestern, and I have heard a rumor that he has been talking with Notre Dame.

  10. Catholic 5

    Oak Ridge 0

Both teams played very well. From an outside perspective it appears that Luke Mishu is the Irish's "X Factor" if you will. Catholic had a bunch of chances including a missed pk but did very well with finishing their opportunities. Oak Ridge also had a few good looks but just couldnt find the back of the net. Good luck to both teams as the regular season begins.

  11. They should once again be strong. There are numerous impact players--Jack, Patrick, Tanner. They also will be very well coached.

Did Kyle McCoy take over coaching at West this year? If so, you are right they will be very well coached. He led his Arsenal team top 25 national rankings.
