  1. Ditto "What, What". Let's get this party started and cheer on the Big 8 conference. Not alot said about baseball these days. Quite frankly I have seen some good baseball players all over the state and the Big 8 boys have held their own. Good luck to all the teams in the conference. :thumb:

  2. Baseball season, baseball thread, and still the same ole putdowns. Please tell me you're not an adult???!!! Sometimes you have to grow up and leave the nest. Stop sitting in your mom's basement and googling Nick-At-Nite reruns. Or better yet.....do something great yourself so you don't have to put others down hiding behind a screen name.......

Hey Stok your Volunteer boy's have picked up their game. DB walked too many batters and those are always killers. Got to hand it to the Falcons as they seized their moment. Question - do you know what date/time the "Beat DB" parade starts? Someone mentioned earlier and man I hate to miss it. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

  3. You got me. But if I don't know them you tell us something we don't know. You stated the obvious. The best pitcher on each team. Great. Everyone already knew that.

I was trying to tell the facts about the players and teams. But I will do it your way.

Science Hill will win more than they will lose.

DB will win a few games and lose some.

Crockett will lose some they should win.

Boone will lose more than they should.

    There breaking news.

Science Hill still has players that could "start for other teams that will not play for them because of their tremendous talent."

The big story will be that everyone except DB, East, Central, and Volunteer have an ace that can beat anyone on any given day. The catch is who the coaches will throw those aces against. I know you are a homer, so if you think DB has an ace I would like to know who it is.

I like it......please keep this up. All this and that about SH and their "special" talent.......news flash SH better watch their heels as Crockett and DB are right behind. You obviously don't have a clue about the talent on these two teams. Thanks again for adding to the motivation for other teams. Being an underdog is a good spot to be as the almightly can tumble. I'll be in the stands to watch.

  4. Science Hill

    Crockett/THS/South (take your pick for 2,3,and 4)

    DB

    Volunteer

    Boone

    Central

    East

Hmmmm, interesting order you got going here. DB in fifth - now that's funny I don't care who you are. Not much respect for the Indian nation. Volunteer ahead of Boone and Central?? /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="

  5. It has been quoted on this thread Science Hill is the team to beat this year. Maybe so. Don't count out Dobyns-Bennett or Crockett just yet as either team could take the 1st place title. Lots of talent on each. Does anybody know for sure if the District tournament will be held at Central?

  6. Yes how can anyone forget, it is brought up anytime Volunteer has a game and there is a foul called on us. It was a year ago please get on with your life this is an old subject. When our kids are hurt and taken away to be stapled up we can get over it and not spend as much time on the subject as you and many other people do. Life is too short. Get on with your life.

Yes you are right my man...It does my heart good to see the Volunteer program "moving on" and "getting over it". No pattern here what so ever...

  7. All this talk about Coach Witt at Volunteer and his coaching methods is deserved. What a piece of work he is. Does anyone remember the Dobyns Bennett game last year involving Marshall Harding?? The big white haired kid from Volunteer was escorted to the locker room after the hard foul on Harding. The coach is the problem not the kids.
