  1. Where are all the Hendersonville fans at? One hugely bad scrimmage and all their big bad line talk is gone. (Hendersonville will be decent I just enjoy the ribbing)

Sorry for your misfortune. Didn't Warrior nation spank your little bottoms enough. What was the score?????????? Got spanked by a team that didn't even make the playoffs. And I mean spanked. We scrimmaged another member of the boro county and held our own. At least we didn't get SPANKED. Trust me, we have you marked buddy. No love lost here. Can't wait /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" />

  2. I am happy they moved up to 3A. It will be exciting!

When did they move up? Are they now with the big boys, NO THEY HAVEN'T. But we play a competive nondistrict schedule as one might say. We are GOODPASTURE, We'll play anybody at any given time,,,,,,,,,,,,,,except for the playoffs and district title! But seriously, back to GOODPATSIE FOOTBALL please.

  3. I do not agree that they are in a district they should win every year, but I do agree that this year it should come down to Whitehouse and Goodpasture. As far as Coach Martin being afraid to play bigger teams, that is completely wrong! In fact, he goes out of his way to play the bigger schools to get his team ready for the playoffs. Every year, their first pre-season game is against MBA. Every year, their non-region games are very impressive. Every year they play much bigger schools than they are. Here is a list of the non-region games they played last year: David Lipscomb, McGavock, Ravenwood and JP2. And even though they changed districts this year, they have added rival CPA to thier non-district games. So this year, their non-district games are Whites Creek, McGavock, CPA, David Lipscomb, and Ravenwood. I think it is safe to say that their is not another team out there that plays as tough of a non-district schedule. And everyone of this years non-district games are in bigger classifications except for CPA, which is an outstanding program. So most of us dont agree!

Then how about joining these teams in their districts and their playoff system. Matter-a-fact, join our district. I don't remember saying anything about non-district schedule, but you play down to less talented teams in the playoffs. Come on, did I strike a nerve with you and JOEJOE. Play some real competition when it matters. Quit your whinning boy. If GP and PJ would leave our boyz alone then we would be at the top of the food chain. JP sits down at the bottom of their district (they can't compete). Maybe they'll join you guyz in a few years and play class 3A ball. Then they'll have a chance to win a title too.

  4. I also agree with you on the pickings 1. MJ 2. Gallatin 3. Up for grabs with HHS, WC, and Beech. Should be exciting this year.

H-ville will win the district. Ol and Dl are stacked and packed. Games will be won in the trenches. MJ 1 might be 1 in the 6A portion of the district (doubtful), but it doesn't speak volume for H-ville and G-town.

    H-ville #1

    G-town #2

    Beech #3

    MJ #4 overall and 1 in 6A

WC #5 and could win 6A easily

  5. Sorry, but GP is playing in a district that they should win every year. Come on now, how does a team like Westmoreland exspect to play a team that recruits its talent. Very lop-sided district here. As for White House, little bit better game here, but still a large task for even them to compete. Is Martin afraid to play the likes of MBA and Brentwood Academy every year for state championship. Most of us would agree, heck Yeah he is.

  6. Are you saying that SC will be the best of Sumner Co?? Most on here say that Sumner will easily dominate the Wilson Co. teams! If this is the case; then you are saying that SC will win the region. This might be a tall order /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" />

Better be carefull what you predict. This new schedule in 5A-6A does not give you those 5-6 pitty-pat games. It will be tough games week after week after week and then so-on. I would be careful with teams like Mt Juliet, Gallatin, Lebanon, Wilson Central, Hendersonville. They have been in the week to week wars for a long time! It is now a new world for SC; could be a painful adjustment /ph34r.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="ph34r.gif" />

Sorry to inform you, but the SC stands for Sumner Counties Best and not Station Camp. I'm a Hendersonville guy. We will role over the Wave, Beech, Station Camp, Portland, the Wilson County schools, and who ever gets in our way This is our year baby! /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" />

  7. here it says "win consistently in this district." and then you contradict yourself by saying " they'll beat someone they are not supposed to". now you make it sound like they will just get one maybe two upsets?? so if you stick to what you first said then yes i would say i told you so when they do not win consistantly..but if you go with what you said the second time i wont say it. but i dont know what youre trying to say

Are you and pressman married? How about you guy's kiss and make-up! that would be nice, but gross in more ways than one /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

  8. SC has proven they can win in this district. They beat H'ville and Beech both when SC was still 3A and H'ville was 5A and Beech 4A. SC took Beech to the wire this past year and was blown out by a good Hendersonville team. They have proven their worth. Beating the other schools in this district will add to their resume. As of now, all the teams are equal. It will depend on who is most successful in the off-season. Earning respect is what SC is all about!!

You're right and no one respects you.

  9. Good assessment. Remember 4 years ago Livingston Academy was 5-5 regular season, I think a 4 seed and won the 3A state. Ripped off 5 straight wins. That is a rare case. I look forward to seeing these teams play. Oh and wideright, as a kicker's dad that is a bad name. Ha Ha. Talk later /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

Sorry, I don't think the Bisons will be playing post season next year after the reports I'm getting as of late. Besides, you need talent and not a scrub.

  10. There is also a thread buried a couple pages deep on this issue, but I ran across this as a 'Letter to the Editor' and thought it was a refreshing thing to hear...http://www.wilsonpost.com/. Go to the Opinion Section and Scroll down to the one entitled "School Board member wants 4th block changed back for athletes"...good stuff.

    That's WHY we live in SC (Sumner Counties Best) Baby /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" /> H-ville in the house /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
