  1. last year in the district tournament lebanon was playing oakland at oakland, and it started raining about the 3rd or 4th inning and caused a big delay. after about an hour or two of waiting they postponed it and continued the next day so idk exactly how many hours that it was, but technically it was a lot! lol

  2. My Bad - you need to join the 7-AAA Cell Phone Network so you can laugh at me in person /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

Have they decided on a makeup day yet?

lol no they haven't. i'll let you know when i hear something.

  3. We have a skid of quick-dry arriving in the morning. Weather looking better (always stay positive!!!)

Did Lebanon get rained out tonight in Sparta?

yeah last i saw the rain is supposed to hold off until saturday.. looks like good baseball weather ahead

  4. lebanon got the sweep and improved to 4-0 tonight against warren co. winning 10-4. great pitching performance by chase hudson throwing a complete game. lebanon is continuing to hit the ball very well. defense made a couple of errors tonight, but when you put up at least 10 runs a game you can get away with that. they still only have a few errors on the season. they play watertown and wilson central tomorrow, and then dont play till districts next tuesday and wednesday.

  5. a lotta work has been done to lebanon high school's field this offseason and it is looking NICE. this field has the big grand stand behind home plate and is one of the biggest fields in tn. it was originally built for a minor league team to use, but after they didn't use it it kinda went down hill. but this year it has made a come back looking beautiful.

  6. nothing against L'town but really they haven't played a good team... I mean gallatina, Warren county and Tullahoma are all mediocre. We'll really see how good Lebanon is when they get into the BORO.

it dont really matter who they've played, 39 runs in 3 games is impressive. i sure hope lebanon doesn't rain on some murfreesboro teams' parades this year. that would just be devastating to yall's ego wouldn't it?

  7. What's interesting is that if Siegel can win the close games and come from behind like they did last night, once the players gel and get accustomed to unfamiliar positions and the bats get hot, could be fun to watch.

well that might be next year for you guys. ya never know. it can take a while to get used to an unfamiliar position. sounds like they're just rebuilding this year. i believe there was WAY to much hype about them going into this season.

  8. yea lol. patriots.. pioneers.. who cares.. lol they just gotta get ready for that beatdown coming

well lebanon did look ready to go last night, and i'd expect the same from them tonight considering it is their first home game. if they keep hittin it the way they have then look out. 39 runs in 3 games and only allowing 10!

  9. the devils hit decent last night against the patriots putting up 10 runs but didnt quite swing it as well as they'd like. look for the blue devils bats to come alive tonight as they play warren co in thier first home game of the year! 6:30 at vetrens field

don't you mean the pioneers? lol

  10. they are really a good team. who have have they beaten? i wish we could have seen the wilson county tournament. would have been a real measuring stick of this team i think.

they've beaten tullahoma, gallatin, and warren county. they've scored 39 runs in three games and only allowed 10!

  11. Lebanon will never be as good as their talent as long as their current coach is still there. Hes terrible!!

wow, shows how much YOU know about lebanon baseball. the coach they have right now does a fine job coaching them. and they also added an excellent pitching coach this year that has done wonders to their pitching staff. don't stick your nose in where you have no idea what you were talking about. lebanon should do very well this year.

  12. Two great questions and a good observation sandwiched in between. Could it be a question to the amount of milk supplied to this group, and the time that the milk has been given? A 1 run loss to NorthEast; bases loaded 1 out in the seventh, and 2 straight K's. A 2 run loss to Siegel; 8 men left on base. A 1 run loss to Riverdale; no runs scored. A 2 run loss to Oakland; 3 straight errors in the 6th. A 1 run loss to Blackman; a catchable flyball left hanging in the outfield. A 1 run loss to Warren County; error in the seventh let both the runs that tied and won the game cross the plate.

The question posed is relevant. It is not a question of if they will be better, but WHY......

they will be better because they're starting nine seniors who all hit the ball for average and power. their defense is as solid as any, making hardly any errors. pitching was the only x factor for them going into the season, but it has proved to be working out great. with 4 solid seniors and a very good sophomore pitcher, look for them to keep playing the way they have been and win a lot of games. in their first two games, they have put up 29 runs, and allowed 9.
