Westview will have to prove it on the field because the talent the last 4 or 5 years just has not been there. I really do not see them having a high powered offense from what i saw last year and you will have to swing the stick to beat dyer co, milan, or dyersburg. I think it is more reasonable for them to finish 4th or 5th. Also, losing to obion central in the district tournament does not exactly tell me that westview us up to playing on an elite level; but I hope I am wrong because i would like to see more competition in the district. good luck westview

I am not discrediting him as a coach because I think he is one of the best in the state but you also have to consider that usj can get anyone that can afford to go to school there. They have had kids from all over such as haywood,humboldt, and other areas around jackson. they are not just restricted to one paticular school zone. also, if they can afford to go to school there they probably have the money to go to elite camps and have better quality coaching growing up. Considering the circumstances, i would expect them to be great year in and year out.

I am not even from milan. My son plays on another team in the district. I just have never seen a freshman class like they had last year. their jv team probably could have competed in a sub-par single a district how good will crockett be this year? They really surprised me in the district tournament last year

Their ace lefty is back and had a couple of freshman that produced last year. Im thinking they had one more junior last year but i can't remember his name. if they get out of district you really only need one great pitcher to get to state because he can pitch on monday in first round of region and friday in substate

Mark it down milan will make it to sub-state this year. win district tournament, beat ripley/covington, lose to usj in region champ. play substate away..

I would go with odle from lexington or the guy from union city(used to be with mckenzie). I just moved back to West Tennessee recently and these were the two best in my opinion from 2 years ago

What is it looking like in Crockett County this year? I heard they surprised some people in the district tournament last year? How many starters coming back, pitchers, etc. I look forward to watching them play again this year

where is morristown and what class are they? I would think if they transferred in their junior/senior year within their own county it had to a playing time issue or a coach issue. especially when both teams are typically pretty darn good.

I don't see Westview doing more than what they usually do, be in the middle of the pack in the district. Baseball is not that big of a deal in Martin because football is so big. I think Milan has a shot this year to take down dyersburg of dyer county for the district title. They had a lot of freshman last year that were dang good and will step in immediately produce. They also have that lefty returning and he is very good as well. But I do not see any team in this district making it to sub-state. The district will be weak in my opinion
