Dalton Read was All-State in xc as a freshman finishing 14th, ran 4:31 as a freshman, and 1:58 last year as a sophomore, he hasnt improved at all since his freshman year.

Christian Brewer made his breakthrough last year in xc with a 20th place finish at state, this is his first season running track, I had heard his first race was at Elon University in NC and he ran a 9:55 for the school record.

Jordan Chaney of Maryville ran 1:56 indoors twice and opened with 1:58 outdoors yesterday.

Chaney is fast, what has Ford Bell been up to?

I would assume that Aaron Doyle holds the record somewhere over 30 goals when he earned All American honors his senior year. I do know that Ben Backstrom and Jake Russell had 21 and 23 goals respectively their senior year.

I thought Aaron Doyle had 50+ his senior year.

Wow! this could be a great match, i really hope it is and not a blowout by either team. This years Seymour squad could be one of the best they have had in a while and Maryville is always strong.....this is hard but i am going to take Seymour 2-1.

Scottie Hopson would be a perfect comparison to these bearden players same size and they play just like him... except just not as good as scottie lol

So true, very very well said, Parker and Jenkins are as big as most teams forwards but they play as guards. They are fast and fit, they can shoot and both of them can throw down.

I think it depends on which Seymour team shows up. They've beaten quality teams by a nice margin this preseason, but they've also been beaten, handily by Mo. West and badly by Bearden. I'm going to follow my allegiance and say they come out fired up and ready to play. Haha, i dont blame you for saying that.....i would say the same thing, i had just heard from a friend that he missed the maryville game because of an altercation with the coach but i don't know much about how he has been playing.

Dont know what happened, he got a game suspension which was against Maryville, which they still won.

I agree with ihavenofriendz, they cover who is doing the best, about 3 years ago Halls had a good team, they got lots of coverage, and 2 years ago South-Doyle had a great team, and they too got lots of media attention.
