Hillsboro should still be 4th and Overton 5th. Hillsboro smacked Overton in a scrimmage before the season. Then it doesn't matter who falls where because 5-11 could beat each other any given night.

East Nashville just became available last night. Seems like it could work if Blackman was willing to travel to East.

Why Would you teach them to hold onto games they didn't even play in as victories? Maybe be proud of the fact you scored on a tuff Smyrna Team, that your starting to get it together... Not fake wins. 

Covid Forfeits only count for region games and since Green Hill cant go to the playoffs, those are fake wins. Why have pretend wins?

How is Green Hill 4-4 going into Week 6? Last I checked they haven't won a game.

Metro will be allowed to start practices in pads on Monday. Metro even sent out an email to head coaches stating the plan is play 9/11 which is week 4. With updates coming every week. Good signs to play this fall.

Now that the order has been lifted and contact can begin, what will metro nashville do with high school football? They need to respond quickly! Dont understand how private schools in nashville could have contact practices, but not the public schools. 

John Overton 1981... Still the only undefeated Metro team to win the State title. On top of that did it in class AAA with no separation of public and private. 

Recruiting has always happened in metro and will continue. The issue is it use to be metro vs everybody. Now metro takes from within while the privates still take some of the best.

Antioch would be the best football team in metro and probably the state if the players stayed. They would have had the top two players of the state on the same team as well as CR Qb and top receiver and most likely others. 
 

Metro has tried to hire top metro assistants, those assistants turn down the job. For instance, Antioch tried to hire the top two assistant coaches from Hillsboro last year and they both turned down the job. If you want to be a head coach so bad why turn it down? 
 

The real issue is metro hiring head coaches at the school. There was time when potential head coaches interviewed at the board with the district AD, board members, principal, and school AD. Now it has become a joke!

Rumor is they already have a coach who has previous experience in the district...

Stewarts Creek needs to just beat the teams in their region and with them being in the same region as Antioch, McGavock, LaVergne, and Overton they should be able to get 4 wins making them a possible 4-2 in the region and at least a 3rd place. Also, Overton is no longer on probation. 

Grimes was playing outside line backer and even picked off the MJ QB. Interesting to see ravenwood play him with all the questions about his eligibility. 

Just the recruiting coordinator... no big deal just the guy that gets the best athletes to come to that school. I believe 2x national recruiting coach of the year 

Overton has made their decision.  Public announcement coming later this week

Lets get back on topic....  Any word on Antioch? Heard they were going to announce a coach yesterday but did not.
