Apparently, Newsweek needs to do their HW ergo homework a little better. Looking at the #'s ergo numbers that Kerplunk posted it looks like any other metro school. HB ergo Hillsboro can't sniff ANY of the Williamson Co. ergo County schools in the way of academics. If Blade leaves, Gilligan takes a 3 hour tour down I-40. Book it. One problem. Nobody he's interviewed with is hiring him. He's not going anywhere!

I think Blade is irrelevant to HB ergo Hillsboro's success. In that district it's going to be tough because, as you said, HB ergo Hillsboro is not in the league with Williamson Co. schools. And again, your understanding of the new system is incorrect. Simply beating Cent. ergo Centennial doesn't get them in.

Worked their butts off at going and getting kids from every other metro school. How many players (not roster fillers, but players) were in the HB ergo Hillsboro zone? You think Scott Murray could have figured out something to do with Eric Gordon?

Fighting an uphill batle!!?? At Hillsboro!!?? You want an uphill battle take all of the obstacles to winning at HB and add to that only getting guys in your zone and add to that losing guys TO HB! That's an uphill battle.

Well, he's obviously decided he wants to leave. He's applied for every open job around. Problem is he's not getting any of them. Here's my prediction. Blade is coaching HB, the gates will be fabulous, and they'll have a much longer offseason to spend their new found wealth.

Book it! It's been an ongoing process. He's had his eye on Hillsboro and McGavock since the day he took over at SH. I talked to him and he's known SH was a mistake since day 1.
