Being new to this area, how important are the finishes here? Is this a real indication of the season? In Wisconsin, no one really talked about pre-season tournaments. Is it a big deal about "Kermit", whoever that is or anyone else?

Seems there are some members of the wrestling community that give all a bad name. I just moved here from Wisconsin and everywhere we went, someone complained about their stuff being taken. Seems like it is a game among teenage wrestlers to "find" stuff. When looking at schools to determine where to move, many mentioned certain schools that were well known for stealing during tournaments. Good to keep alert, sad we have some bad seeds.

Any major differences in the various clubs in west TN. I'm guessing the Tipton club supports wrestling in that part of the area, but there seems to be 4 in the Memphis area and another club associated with a cheerleader group, can't find much on that club. Just relocated here and my son will be a 9th grader next year and will be moving here when his school year ends. See a lot of discussion about little kids, any work with cadets and juniors?

I have not decided where my son will go to school yet. What other top wrestlers have you coached and do you do clinics

Has anyone suggested changing the attack in the match? You have a ref well known for making every call no matter the team or wrestler and you have been hit multiple times. When you have been hit several times for locking hands, you let the opponent go and don't ride him? Don't grab his head or headgear? Arm chair quarterback's opinion, but it is an opinion

Coach hope you have a similar talk with your assistant. He seems to continually add replies to this thread. And he was at the basis of the whole issue and there have been earlier requests to let the thread die. This is not an attack, but the adults in this whole thing have been less than admirable.
