  1. I wouldnt call that a dumb move walking Sisco if first base was open..Bowers is good enough to make them pay but i dont think it was a dumb move

Not a bad move, just unlucky. lol I think Sisco for the day saw about two or three pitches as well. Intentionaly walked twice.

  2. Is Sisco hurt, or will he be able to play? I heard he had a hamstring injury is that correct?

He is hurt, but has been DHing. Also saw him warming up to pitch the other night at sub-state so hopefully he is good to go there too.

  3. Sisco played..... He went 1 for 2 with a walk and single.

Not bad considering what he was going through. It almost hurt me watching him hobble around on one leg... LOL /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

  4. Not that hard to pitch to? He had ONE bad series against Lebanon... And yes, it was very, very, bad. But that very same weekend he hit another homer, and the last time I checked he was hitting in the .430ish area I think, least thats what I have heard from my son. Also, you have to realize, he is gonna see peoples best stuff, and its almost comical watching how he gets pitched to every game. One team might challenge him with a heater, than boom, its gone. One team might throw all curves in the dirt, and he will draw 2 or 3 walks. I just think he tries to do too much sometimes and thats what gets him in the most trouble, because he does hit all these home runs im sure he thinks its what is expected of him. I mean he has great talent around him, and im sure Blackman will bounce back from this loss to Riverdale and sweep Oakland! Cant wait till Saturday as long as I dont have to work! LOL

  5. If Sisco didnt have the flu, Blackman would be district champions right now. We wouldn't have to worry about tie breakers and what not. LOL But, watching him throw yesterday, you could tell he was nowhere near 100% and something was off... His fastball was by far the worst its been all year, or at least the slowest of the times I have seen him pitch, and you could just tell he was off. Usually he just blows it past people but he just didnt have that heater like normal. But, from what I hear, half the team has gotten a taste of the flu or something going around which is bad news for us but good news for everyone else. LOL

  6. most say he is getting recruited by rice and cal state fullerton-a very rare to recruit outside of california but he is worth it with the 23 bombs he hit so far

Im sorry, but I find that almost impossible to believe. I want some proof. 23 bombs in 15 games? No way.

  7. There is no school in Tennessee that compare to the field that Oakland has, as they have a coach that stays on the field 24/7 to make sure it is ready and clean. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Oakland has a nicer field than a lot of colleges. But, all of the Murfreesboro fields are great. Probably the best quality of fields in a single city. Even MTCS's field looks pretty good!

  8. yeah he can. i haven't heard much out of bowers this year yet. is sisco just stealin all his glory or has he been struggling or what?

I really dont know why he has been slumping so bad, but he has. Some at bats will look great and he will rip the ball, then his next one could just look plain awful. But when he is on, and Sisco is on, probably the best duo in the state hitting wise.

  9. yeah sisco at blackman just doesn't miss mistake pitches. and when he hits em, they go a long way.

He has by far the most power I have ever seen out of a high school player. He hit a ball at White County this year, that honestly went at least 480 feet. It cleared the lights, and the trees, by about 20 feet. Unbelievable. And Bowers can poke them out there too!
