Heard from a couple of people last week that the Pioneers are trying to get Chris Parker back here from Blackman. Anyone else got anything?

Question, why not look for a young assistant coach from Farragut, Houston Co, Germantown,or Bartlett,etc. about the position, True money would be down, but most would jump at chance to be a head coach in AAA. Find someone that will stay and grow with team.

Well, from what I understand they had try-outs without a head coach....how do you pick a team without a head coach? Looks like they made the decision already.

What about former Pioneer and former HC at Franklin Co, Phillip King? Food for thought

Congrats on winning! Just curious, I know this is off subject, but does Cascade have any travel baseball teams, what are their sources of feeder programs? One of my friends that has a son is looking at moving to Cascade for their great schools and excellent athletic programs. Any info would be great. Their son is in elementary, but one of the better up and coming players in basketball and baseball.So, no recruiting, they are tired of the horrible politics here, just want some stability.

Let's see....he was booster club president, then asst. coach, head coach of middle school, (that she wanted to be there, he taught her way!), Oh! and he helped with the petition to get her hired cause his daughter played on her aau team. No. he has no ties:-) He is a good guy, but I watched many of my nieces games at Middle School and he got outcoached a lot! Just my opinion......Good luck with the hire, hope someone can clean up the mess, I would be willing to get back in the Three-Point Club if the hire is right.

I heard they ended the streak last night. Tyler Gilley pitched a 2 hit shutout with 12-13 strikeouts. They beat White Co 1-0 for first district win. Good luck tonight

All I want know is, waydowntown, have you ever coached a sport? If not, why don't you help out with your great wisdom!? My daughter was just fine and did very well considering she came from a "county" school! If the coaches are so bad, in your eyes, step up to the plate and try yourself. From watching many games AND playing in many basketball games, coaches have it rough sometimes. Whether there is any talent or if the kids really want to play at all (mostly for their parents sake). Listen, Honey! I wouldn't want to coach some of the girls in this county because of their parents filling them up with soooooo much hot air "You're the best, you were All County for three years or All CTC! I don't know why they are starting over you, honey? It's ok to quit, blah, blah, blah!" Anyways I have work tomorrow and some of these people on here are experts........just like the ones that sat near me in the bleachers, year after year....... Very classy. I hope this shows everyone in Warren Co. and all surrounding counties what kind of coach and person she was!!! She really had the girls' best interest, didn't she? Not showing up! Thank you Coach Tinsley for being a bigger person!

Well said. Having all the best in the county from 6th-8th would help tremendously for the girls AND boys program! My kids are through the system now ,so no pressure here or dog in the race. Just a former player and supporter of Lady Pioneers past chiming in. I also remember Lisa Paz having good battles with Eades in elementary action, what is she doing now?; she could help too, even asking Coach Haile for some input might help also. Whenever I went to games there was always one or two girls on the bench that should have been playing freshman ball getting some playing time instead of a minute here or a minute there. Part of her M.O. I guess. Anyways, all that is in the past now, whoever gets the job good luck, I just wondered if Coach Eades ever visited elementary schools or talk to coaches about what they could do to help?
