football fan is on track but I think he is a score short. Indy by 28 points.
-
You must have watched a different game, they would send 5,6 & 7 but hey you got it figured out. Indy is the team to beat till someone does it. Every week someone has is figured out and they come up short. I'm sure they are saying next!

Hillsboro sacked Hines 4x and had numerous more hurries.. He was a tough kid.. The Burros looked on tv to play a lot of zone. Blew those two coverages early that put them behind 14-0...
When you send that much pressure you will likely get to a QB, but 42 points later you lose badly. As did CR last season.

You guys are a joke, Myers is a great coach and I'm sure he could care less what you think. He's got two state titles and I'm sure he's happy where he is.
-
Seems like HC went to the quarterfinals both years he was there. And the man has two rings at two different schools so take it for what it's worth.
-
Yes at Hillsboro in 2008
-
Well Hickman passed on a coach who just won his second state championship.
-
This year? Maybe. 99 out of 100 years? Nope.
I think he's been in the state championship 3 times, won 2 and in the playoffs every season since he has been in the state. So that's a pretty good record!

Andrew Bunch is the best high school quarterback that I've seen! Indy was firing on all cylinders, congrats to Blade and his team! They are a dominant team and deserve all the accolades!
-
Congrats to Independence on a convincing win. Congrats to Coach Blade for having your first team in there on your last ball possession when it's 49-14. Might be some of the reason you didn't cut it at OaK Ridge.
It doesn't matter what you think!

Nice job Counts they were really prepared
-
Didn't think you could be in pads yet? They have been in camp all week and in helmet and shoulder pads, is this legal?
-
What about Independence who was one point away?
-
Myers was my coach at Hillsboro and he was very disciplined and knowledgable. I loved coach Myers and he was a major cog in two state championship appearances.
-
Myers has won everywhere he has been[/quote
He has only been at springfield correct?
Well when he was my coach we went to 2 state championship games, 2006, 2008, then I believe he took SHS to playoffs every year and I think the same at Hickman. Prior to that I'm unsure. I am sure he must have been successful before or coach Blade wouldn't have hired him.
-
If myers gets a shot....they may as well hire a real coach....MAC McCurry!
Myers has won everywhere he has been
-
Good luck to all

keep promoting yourself coach.
Man you hate the truth, good try. No cigar!

They made the playoffs in 1977, 1980, 1986, 1987, 1990, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2007, 2008, 2011, 2012, and 2013. So 5 times, looks a little more like 9 since 1993 a total of 14. Don't get me wrong the current staff is good, but this post sounds like someone on the current staff.
Just looked it up on the net

It looks like they went to the playoffs 5 times since 1993. Rewis took them three of the five. Looks like the current staff has won more playoff games. I could only find records back to 1993.
-
Considering with Myers as OC and Rewis' right hand during two of the best years Hickman had had I would think he should get the job also.

CMCSS could have several dominant programs but cares nothing about advancing their athletic programs
-
No need to apply here from what I understand . No interviews. Done deal to young alumni . Just what in hearing I may be wrong but don't think so.
Then they deserve what they get!
Northeast open/ Rossview open

The bureaucracy of CMCSS is why there hasn't been a state champ in Montgomery County in football, the talent is in the system.
