  1. Unfortunately the cadet trip has officially been canceled, and Tennessee will not be represented at the 2015 Cadet National Duals taking place in York, PA. Our Schoolboy team is currently in Indianapolis getting ready to compete, and the Junior trip is still on. I wish all those involved good luck, and hopefully the cadet trip will take place next year.

  2. Darren, Blake would love to do this, but over these dates he will be competing in a dual meet tournament in Colorado (Paonia duals). As much as I love Freestyle it's back to Folkstyle and then a much needed rest. Good luck to Mason and the rest of the guys. Love to watch him compete.

Thanks Ben. Good luck to Blake in Colorado.

  3. Bryce can go 94 or 100.....and TJ Duncan is coming back for more lol?

Ha.... Hicks or Duncan both beasts. They can share the weight. You didn't catch my Delaney when it should've been Devaney... lol. I will let Pete know about Bryce.

  4. The cadet duals national tournament is approaching quickly. The dates for the tournament are June 9-13. We need to solidify a team roster ASAP. The following roster represents what we have thus far. There are only a few of the following that have committed with deposits thus far. Please respond to Coach Pete Miller with any questions or commitments. Text him at 423-595-3878 Make Note: the following list is not written in stone with regard to weight classes or people. Any wrestler born 1999-2000 is eligible to compete.

    88 - Wesley Delaney

    94- Cade Holloway (maybe)

    100 - Cade Holloway

    106- Blake Reichel?

    113- Smart, Landon Wheaton

    120- TJ Duncan, ?

    126- Mason Reiniche

    132- Elijah Hodge, Brady Ingram

    138- Eli King, Trevor Brown

    145- Trevor Brown, Bryce Whitman

    152- Bryce Whitman, Jay Graham

    160-

    170- Kleoudis

    182-

    195-

    220- Walthall

    285- Boykin

Again, this list is just a starting point. It can be adjusted accordingly, but we need to get it filled and filled quickly. The competition will be top notch, and the opportunity to get better immeasurable. Lets get it done!

    Thanks..... Darren Reiniche

  7. The Dixie Duals are March 12th-14th. Middle School and High School compete on Saturday and Sunday with Elementary teams going Sunday only. Coach Hatcher with CWC has all of the information for the 5 teams he has helped arrange to represent Tennessee.

  8. Sometimes you will catch this information on the high school board. I would also advise checking the state AAU and USAW message boards.

I agree... not much talk about the little guys thus far on any of the message boards. I realize they are young, but has nobody seen any possible future talent? Memphis, Nashville, Knoxville and Chattanooga rec leagues and nothing to talk about?? Hope this is only people being shy. Thread suggestion: comments on top 5 from each division in TN AAU Top 100

Cost would be $50 per attendee with the proceeds going to the Soddy Daisy wrestling program. Respond to the post if you are interested and we will work on getting the dates.
