Yes, he was an assistant to Pharr before coming to Bearden.

Bearden High School baseball coach Matt Buckner is expected to take over the program at Farragut today, effectively replacing mentor and former Admirals coach Tommy Pharr, two sources close to the situation said Wednesday night.
