  1. With 2 series left, 3 teams basically control there own destiny. Big series between Blackman/Siegel. One probably knocked out. Riverdale may have advantage with LaVergne this week, then Siegel.

How do you see any situation to where Siegel would get knocked out? If they can win one game in each series they will be in good shape. Yes both Blackman and Riverdale are talented enough to sweep each series and Siegel has some work to do to finish it up. But they are far from out of it. I am sure each one of those teams would love to swap records with them. Blackman has lost to Smyrna and Riverdale. Riverdale has lost to Smyrna, Blackmand and Oakland. All three teams are beatable. Should be alot of exiciting games over the next two weeks.

Probably should have worded it this way. The team that wins Blackman/Siegel has leg up. If Siegel wins only one, they are a game ahead of Balackman, but Blackman holds tie breaker over Siegel. Blackman has only lost to Riverdale. Riverdale holds tie breaker over Blackman..................this is why the 3 game series needs to stay. If any one of the 3 go 6-0, they win the district.

  2. Definitely keep the three game format. Provides interest, exictement, and chances to overcome a bad game.

Question on tie break.....if two teams are tied for first there is the obvious tie break of who one series. What happens if 3 way tie. If memory serves from last year, there would be no district champion, the top 2 teams from the tournament would go forward........is that correct?

  3. Probably not. Would conflict with weekend tournaments.

Probably Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday?

What I want to do is play 2 district games a week, but each team play each team 3 times, so one week you play a team twice, the next week the first game is the 3rd game of that series and the next game is the first game of the next series. The next week you finish that series. Rinse, Repeat

With only 6 teams that would work. Might as well keep the Tuesday/Wednesday district nights.

  4. Right now it looks like just home and away for 5 weeks for 10 games. I am lobbying for home away away or away home home 3 game series with if flip-flopping the next year for 15 district games.

Would district games be Friday/Saturday much like juco's play today?
