Marion County Utility Player Keli Bruning signed with Motlow State as well...

Keli is a great girl and softball player.

Marion lost 4 seniors... Richards (P) and Henderson (3rd), both signed with Chattanooga State and will be sorely missed as will McClendon (2nd) while the other senior only played sparingly. However, the cupboard is far from bare. They have a really good group of juniors and seniors to go with sophomore pitching transfer Erica O'Kane from Signal Mountain and great bunch of freshmen. I look for it to be a Marion/Grace battle once again in the region and we could very well see both in the Boro again...

I can't see any local "single A" teams challenging Marion County. They have the bats and pitching to have another successful year. Good Luck!

Is there a website that shows who was in tournament and how they placed. I have been looking and can not find one.

Not sure if there is a link on the ASA website detailing the order of finish. I think the top 5 looked like this:

1. Mustangs

2. Fury 95

3. Fury 94

4. Knoxville Blaze

5. Chattanooga Force

Have not kept up TN 16u this year, but how can a 93 team win the 16u. No one on the team can have a 93 birthday and be playing 16u.

That is a old post. The 94 Mustangs defeated the Fury 95 to win the 2011 16U ASA State this year. Great game between two good teams.

Sequatchie beat Dekalb Co 4-2. Bledsoe defeated Upperman 2-0. Sequatchie County Host Bledsoe on Wednesday.

LOL, instead of slandering and bashing, you should be out promoting your own kid, its not any organizations duty to do it for you and its not that hard. And, as far as the "all the stories I've heard" statement, if you don't have first-hand information, think before posting.

Is your facilities nice and have adequate seating for the visitors? I think we will have a lot of fans, obviously not as much as local teams, but a far amount nonetheless.

Goodpasture has very nice facilites. Was up there 2 years ago for the softball substate and had a chance to look around.

The Grace-Grundy result should be a reminder to the players they can't afford to overlook anybody. I've been impressed how they've come out focused the last 3 weeks against heavy underdogs.

Come on, just tell everyone the team that you are obviously wanting to tout. Its ok, really! But don't be spouting crap like : " What team ", "I heard" and "They could". Just say: My team's name is ______ (fill in the blank) and we are coming to Chattanooga and kicking everyone's butts! It will help you sleep better at night. If you're looking for some outside reassurrance, your team is probably getting put out in 3-4 games. But, good luck anyway!

Is that part of the old schedule or new schedule? Why the change, now that I'm on the subject?

 

New schedule. looks like it went from 20 to 21 teams.

I've never seen so many top teams get bumped to the bottom half of the bracket with the addition of one team.

It is strange I was looking at some of the teams info on TSSAA and the coach on record for Bledsoe is not the one that has been coaching them. Would that not make the coaches illegal with the bylaws of TSSAA.If this is true how have they made it this far.They should have been disqualified and the school should be finedfor not abiding by the rules

 

It is STRANGE!......That Bledsoe has underachieved all these years and a coaching change propels them to one of the most improved programs in the area? I think we SHOULD contact the TSSAA and maybe bring in the federal government to help sort out this outrageous act of good coaching. Dude, just let it go. That horse is dead and rotting in the back pasture.

I have no problem with the old coach. On the contrary, I hated to see her go. Didn't you? I enjoyed beating Bledsoe last year, didn't you? If you had educated yourself on the topic before letting your emotions get the best of you, you would have already known that. But, I've learned to expect these emotionally-filled, uneducated and not very-well thoughtout outburst from you. I know its hard being you (i.e. sucking at predictions), but at least put a little more effort into the insults. Use your own descriptive adjectives to hurl at me, instead of using mine.
