I like their coach and even tho they beat us 43 times dis year...I like them. I seen their team pulling for us (WC) in all our games. Now that is some good sportsmanship.

I was watching the Beech game next door to ya'll and when your game was over, we were all thinking that maybe the AA championship finals were tonight. You'd of thought that someone just won STATE by all the hoopla.

And you know what...they AIN'T been dar before. This is da first time this year they beat the team dat has won 121 state championships in a row.

It would have been nice for him to be there and I am certain he wished he were. But there is a hundred coaches who ain't gonna be there in terms of their teams playin. So, I am kinda confused. Dog Gone...we got two "9's" in the State Tournament. And, they is in the opposite bracket. Wouldn't it be great to have em both in the finals.

It was never said "University of Alabama bound". Could be going to Jefferson Davis CC which is in Alabama. Or she might be going to UA, just not to play ball. If she is going to play ball at UA well all I can say, good for her.

Now, you's beat us 4 times dar MustHang. But, I is wantin the "9's" to make a big showin at da State. Ya'll take care of biz-ness. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

It would be really interesting to see those four teams play. I'd think they would all 4 be pretty evenly matched with Beech being slightly ahead. In the regular season, Goodpasture went 1-1, winning by 1 against Soddy and losing by 1 to Trinity. Trinity went 1-0, winning by 1 against Goodpasture, and Soddy went 0-1, losing by 1 to Goodpasture. I've heard Beech beat both Soddy and Goodpasture in play days in preseason; you can take that for what it's worth since it was preseason.

I'd like to see my WC play dem teams. Dat is...except Beech. We lost to dem 4 times. I don't want to see dem again till the "Ship" !! And dat's a fact! /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />

Those would be great games to watch!!!! Great athletes and competitors on all of those teams as many others in the state. But I don't think that last year has much to do with this year, we must remember that these are teenage girls we are dealing with and that things can change a lot with a team of girls during that period of time, improving or not improving! I just hope they all make it thru their sectional games tonight cause it would be a crime to see great seasons like all of these teams have had end in one game that got looked past!

However, if someone is tootin dar horn...just look at da head-to-head. But, if dat Beech team beat dat Trinity team pretty good last year with dat UT signee pitchin...dat my friend is braggin rights. WC has braggin rights on every team they played dis year except Beech. Beech has braggin rights on everybody in da State of TN cuz one thread said dat no TN team has beat them. And, in a way they got braggin rights on Soddy cuz I watched dat play day game and it wuz not even close seeing dat both teams played it straight up to win and both throwing them aces.

The Big Ones Contest is restarting with the region finals on Wednesday, May 13 for baseball and softball. I forgot to change the daily deadline from 10AM which is what it was the last time we had a contest, in basketball. Therefore, a number of fans were unable to make their picks. "MrNiceGuy" and "columbiaguy" won the one-day contest and receive free CoachT Plus memberships.

 

Games will be added every day up until 8AM CDT as we add the region games to our database so check back often!!

 

The deadline each day may vary depending on the starting times for each game so make your picks early. You must be logged into our free message boards in order to participate.

 

PS I am working on a way to blame MrNoitAll for this. I'll let you know when I figure it out.
