Shelby Dawson is a really good pitcher but she is in the one of the weakest districts in the State.

Word at the park during ASA state was the the TN FORCE 16U might be pulling back together this fall getting ready for next summer..... Should be interesting to see how much shuffling goes on this fall in 16U as everyone is trying to get the right mix?
That was a pretty solid team. Wonder why they split up in the first place?

So if you've made such great relationships with so many great coaches, then why take the time to write out such a long thought out post about how awful you seem to think coaches are?
My thoughts exactly. Most coaches feel like they have a Bull's Eye painted on their back at least half of the time.

I know a coach who is one of the most respected coaches in the mid-state who has put more girls in D1, has won state several times, is a Christian, great father, great husband, kind, dedicated, loves all types of kids, honest, carin and etc....... than anyone that I know. But just a few years ago he had parents who question what he was doin and wanted to get him fired....now folks somethin is wrong with this picture! Coachin just ain’t the same as it used to be a few years ago, cause these parents are sendin their princess's to pitchin lessons, hittin lessons and they think because they go that they are good. Well I hate to be the one to bust their bubble but cause you go doesn’t mean that your princess’s will be good!
Yep sometimes I wonder why coaches put up with some of the dumb, stupid, unintelligent, slow parents who are at the game runnin that mouth. Cause they have played, coach a little travel ball or seen it on TV makes them an expert. But the good coaches put quality hours in learnin somethin new about the game, studyin the game, scoutin other teams, reading about the sport, goin to clinics. This coaches are taken time away from their families and children and spending them with kids who parents are dumb _ _ _ if you know what I mean. Then they have to take these15-20 girls with different home life, different morals, different values, different intelligence levels, different economic backgrounds, girls worrying about their home life, boyfriends, jobs, and havin there parents runnin that mouth at the games at the umps, other parents or anyone that will just listen.
My mama always told me if you can’t say nothin nice about someone just keep that mouth shut. Now folks don’t you think if that loud mouth at the game will talk about the coach, the umps, other players on the team they will talk about your daughter and you as well. You better believe it cause if you think that you are special just wait and you be talked about soon or later.
The good book says the hardest thing to control is that tongue and just go to the park and you will see what God is a talkin about!
Could I get an "AMEN" from the congregation. Tell it brother, preach on!!!!!!!! I'm feeling it!!!!

Stalagmite, I agree with your statement. Pointing fingers is wrong. I look in the mirror and know I am a sinner, like we all are, and praise God for Jesus! I also know I have clean hands and a pure heart, and, most importantly, so does God. I have NEVER harmed an innocent person in ANY way. In fact, the opposite. I am in the profession of healing. May I ask you a question? Do you believe in rules or a code of conduct? I am sure you do. Sometimes being a Christian is hard and unpopular. If you are never uncomfortable then you are probably not really living like one. Sometimes you have to speak up when no one else will. The TSSAA has failed this district and the whole state. You said you do not have a dog in this hunt. Maybe you would feel differently if he were and he was hunting against a lion that the owner claims to be a dog. Maybe you shouldn't judge those that have ALREADY been "thrown under the bus" by the ones you are defending.

WOW!!! It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why she left. Somebody needs to back waaaay up and realize that it's just a ball game!!!!!! Do you really think beating a dead horse from three years ago is helping or "healing" anyone. I also read on another post where you were bashing coaches. Maybe you should start watching pro wrestling, it is just as big a fake as you are.

Camden beat Creek Wood at Creek Wood 4-3. The Lady Lions haven't really even found their bats yet. If they do, they will be scary-good come play-off time.
Camden will put up 10 runs against Creekwoods pitching and defense when their bats come around!
Where are those bats coming around from your local Wal-Mart. Over half the team couldn't buy a hit.

Rules!? Since when do they care about rules? They only abide by them when they serve their selfish purpose. If they do go to state this year that will send a terrible message to the entire softball community. Most are taught that "cheater never win". Not true in that county and district.

Please, educate us on just what you think Creek Wood "does right". I'm sure teams with less impressive records that seem to get beat up on by them would love some insight. There's a couple of things I can think of and I'm pretty sure they didn't learn them in church.
Congrats to Fairview and Sycamore! Best of luck in your new district! You are both great teams and deserved better than what you got in your previous district. Sounds to me you all learned a valuable lesson, Don't dog it all season. There is a reason Teams try to win there district. The first is home field advantage and the second is the tournaments have to be finished by a certain day and time. I don't know about you but I ain't going to depend on the weather to decide if I get to go further or not. The rules of the district tournament were layed out and decided on by all the coaches before hand. So if you still have a problem take it up with your own coaches first.

Or were you one the parents responsible for keeping the pot stirred until you ran his daughter off of the big school on the hill. You know the the big AAA school that couldn't beat worthless Creakwood! Why don't you grow up get a life and join a slow pitch league then maybe you will figure out that grown people do not tolerate people like yourself!!!! Dickson has a new pitcher this year, that has helped them through some of their games so far this year. But I cant help but think if Dickson had not lost Kilgore they would be a much stronger team. Do you think Dickson's pitcher is good enough to get them through the districts playoffs and into Regionals and State?
