    Thanks for the memories!!!

  2. Lipscomb has 4 seniors and 2 juniors from the 2002 NSA 16U National Champion Nashville Eagles returning to support Megan Rhodes. Libby Manning the teams leading hitter as a freshman two years ago is also back with the team this year. For the last two years 8AA has sent two teams to the state, don't be surprised if it's a three-peat.

  3. Both runs Beech scored on Lipscomb were unearned (fielding error and past ball). Lipscomb's 1 run was earned (back to back hits by Freshmen). Take away just one of the errors and this game was up for grabs. Beech's defense was awesome. Megan pitched a 1 hitter with 15 K's. Good game overall for both teams. Reminded me of some of the Lipscomb vs. Ezell and Lipscomb vs. BA games from past years.

  4. The 16u Eagles have been one of the better teams as of the last two years winning the NSA & USSSA state championships last year as only 15 year olds and winning the ASA State and NSA world series in 2002. I don't think there are any teams in the state of Tennessee that can match that performance. Most all of the big time players in the Nashville area have at one time or another played in the Crieve Hall organization.

  5. The Nashville Eagles (Crieve Hall) are by far the elite group of summer teams from the state of Tennessee.

ASA 18U National Champions (Don Lockridge)

NSA 14U World Series Champions (Pat Cannon & Mike Wright)

NSA 2002 16U World Series Champions (Kenny Watson)

No other summer travel organization from Tennessee can match these accomplishments.

Not to mention the many state and major tournament championships.
