1. I don't see how anyone but Antioch can be considered the favorite. They haven't lost to a team in the state of TN. They played Duncanville, TX within 10 points and they are the most talented team in Texas with several 4 and 5 star players.

I have to agree with my hooligans.. haha

Antioch has a great shot at winning this year AAA.

Alot will depend on the pairings for these 8 teams.

    Oak Ridge/Seigal

    White Station/Red Bank

    Antioch/DB

    Ridgeway/Clarksville

here is a option for you? Who makes it to semis and Why?

  2. QUOTE(sports_fan @ Jun 4 2007 - 08:46 PM) 826471357TN YOMCA Tigers can't. They have to many players in team camps.

    Pool A

    W #1 Memphis Y

    E #1 Ballerz

    C #2 Rage

    C#3 Thunder 2010

    Pool B

    C #1 Fire

    E #2 Flight (Dropped out)

    W #2 Idlewild (Dropped out)

    C #4 Future Stars

The only team that is ranked (from dre's site) that can play AAU is Chatty Thunder.. The others did not play AAU-Celtics, Southeast Elite, Travelers, Midsouth Prospects. Any of those would be great filler teams!!

  3. QUOTE(Jim Harrick @ Jun 4 2007 - 08:28 AM) 826471073Anybody know the schedule and teams involved,,,,any thoughts?

Well the schedule was out but Idlewild and Flight dropped out. I think they have replaced 1 team but not the other yet...

    Pool A

    Memphis Y

    Midstate Ballerz Blue

    Franklin Rage

    Thunder 2010

    Pool B

    Fire

    Future Stars

???? Not sure who this is yet

    TBD

If anyone needs s a copy of the schedule send me a email tennesseethunder@charter.net

I would like to see the TN Yomca Tigers take the open spot!! Balance out Pool B.

  4. QUOTE(dream n it @ May 21 2007 - 03:15 PM) 826464105pretty sure it's tennessee thunder

It is the Tennessee Thunder 15/u. We have had some players leave and others start focusing on other sports.

That's why we are looking for another "big" and not from a team that is still playing. We are looking for a player whose team is finished or has not yet played on a team this summer. Doesnt matter where in the state you are from.If you are wanting to play and showcase your skills at these great events give me a call!!

  5. Looking for a power forward/center 6'5 or bigger.

To help us finish out summer.

Is your team done but you still want to play?

Coaches has your season ended but you have a young man who could use the exposure & extra games?

Have you not been playing all spring but want too?

If you are a big man that's a freshman or sophmore (who doesn't turn 16 until after sept. 1).

Contact Shawn Harris @ 615-479-4931 or email shawnharris@realtracs.com

    Remaining schedule:

May 25-27 Tournament of Champions @ Duke, UNC, NC State

    June 8-10 16/u state @ Goodpasture HS

July 5-10 16/u Nationals in Clarksville Tn

July 30-Aug 4 Jr Olympics in Knoxville

  6. QUOTE(coachbkp @ May 8 2007 - 10:46 AM) 826454344could not have been the tennessee yomca tigers because they where in dallas that weekend i am waiting to find this out also. nobody seems to know who played in this sub-state

Hey BigY you are the man out west with the info!! Do you know who won or atleast who played? Or has it even been played yet??

I heard the TN YOMCA Tigers got a bye straight to nationals because they were in out of town events the weekends of substate. So I dont see them playing out west!!

  7. Pool A

    E1-TN Travelers

    N1-Midstate Ballerz

    S2-TN Tarheels

    W2-YOMCA (Johnson)

    Pool B

    S1- TN Flames

    W1-YOMCA (Peete)

    E2-CDF Thrashers

    N2-Nashville Celtics

    Any predictions??

From the looks of the pools the unlucky team is the TN Tarheels. They could lose all 3 pool play games by a 20+. Pool B has some great matchups of teams that know each other well.

Should be a great weekend of basketball!!
