Congrats on a great season Dyer Co. always the bridesmaid, never the bride.
-
69-68 fulton
OT with 1:16 to go
-
4 min in the 3rd, 46-45 Dyer County up

Not at the game, but wanted to bump the thread.
EDIT: removed what I said after that, the TSSAA scoreboard is real inaccurate
-
better than posting all that....
http://www.tssaa.org/2007Champions/StateBB...lassAA/home.htm
go there, and others have posted the espn radio link.

What else is going on in Newbern? nothing... lol

I'm thrilled for Union City, I hope they finish it out, and take home the gold ball with no losses on their record.

Those like me at work, and can't listen to Streaming Audio
(allow pop-ups)
refreshing constantly..
UC is still shooting 70% from the field.. that's just phenomenal.

GO UC!

And Region.. and substate.
Z made his case for Mr. Basketball, and I've had several people tell me they were really impressed!!
Lets go DC.. give me a reason to leave work early Saturday /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Congrats Siegel!! I imagine the crowd was GREAT for this game, considering it was practically a home game for them.
With Cane Ridge High School opening up... look for Antioch to change drastically...
-
One point I want to drive home on the CPA/DC Game, and I hope we can look forward to Fulton.
For those saying that "Dyer County stole the game"... All Dyer County did was show up, and not give up.
If the timekeeper (TSSAA provided) and the refs (TSSAA Provided) missed a call, or goofed.. throw your anger towards TSSAA, not Dyer County.
As many have pointed out.. if CPA had hit the many free throws they had chances to take, the last 15 seconds wouldn't have mattered.
TSSAA, you might have dropped the ball... but DC's not going to let it cast a shadow over this weekend.. however it may end.
-
Bump to the top, because the CPA game is over, and this is what everyone needs to focus on.
So to recap, Someone said Fulton has fast guards? How deep is their bench? half or full court offense?
-
wow.. watched the refreshing box score on this.. 4th quarter must have been exciting.
-
-
CPA missed free throws... could have put the game away and the clock wouldn't have mattered.
-
I might just have to be sick tomorrow... it's killing me being 30 minutes away (in nashville) and not seeing the boys play.
-

The rest wouldn't have mattered if they had made the free throws.
Ask John Calipari and Memphis about missing free throws.. they lost to an 'orange and white' team too because of it.

Isn't it the job of a coach to be above what's being posted?
Think Pearl reads the message boards? Coach K? Calipari? Probably not, otherwise they'd be upset off all the time.
While reading that post.. two things came to my mind..
Dyer County vs Fulton
in Boys Basketball
Posted
Fulton > DC in football.. sorry guys, can't be anything but truthful on that one.
DC had their chances, just couldn't get the buckets to fall..
Reminds me of the Lady 'Taws in substate a few years ago (33-1 season).. live by the 3, die by the 3.
