  1. No doubt Elder is better, IMO, but Bonds is still the QB of CPA's team, and he plays his role well. Elder is a better player, but I may not be willing to admit that CPA would be better with him versus Bonds. People don't realize CPA's game all starts with defense and Bonds leads the way.

These two kids play totally seperate roles. Bonds is part of a well oiled machine and his role is to lead, guide, and put actions into motion. Elder's role was to do it all because they needed his scoring and athleticism to be competitive. Could Bonds step up and do more of that if needed? We don't know. Could Elder back down and perform a different role on a different team? We don't know. Both are pretty good at what they do.

  2. DAD you act like only CPA has great kids and great programs that work with mission trips, etc. We have the same type of kids here in Rutherford County. Many of them are going on mission trips and working at orphanages, etc. We just can't come over to CPA's zone and encourage these great kids to transfer here to play sports. You know that CPA and Coach Maddux do this! Do not deny it by hiding behind how great the church and the mission work is. This is why this CPA topics get so overwhelmed with pages. It is an uneven playing field/court that the school's coaches use. Just go to Div II and you would see that most of this would go away. Ensworth tells the truth when they drive their busses over here. We just want CPA to do the same.

BTW Coach F...please explain re: what part of my statement even remotely insinuated "you act like" and while you're at it show me where I have ever even mentioned churh work or mission of CPA. I'm not involved with the politics of that situation only supporting the rights of people to take the rules given them and make to most of their opportunities. My kids were on the hard side of many butt kickings from your Rutherford County kids because you had better athletes and programs than we had. We didn't cry and whine and blame you.....we worked hard to get good coaches and improve facilities to try and catch up.

Wrong Coach F...just responding to Hater. No one in Middle Tn has greater respect for Rutherford County athletes and programs than I do. When the Williamson County school I was associated with was struggling to become relevant your programs was what we used as a pattern to emulate. I don't have an axe to grind but I refuse to allow those that do free reign.
  4. Settle down Drew. I've seen CPA play multiple times. There are a lot better point guards in Nashville and Memphis than Mr. Bonds. When you are playing with 2 top 30 players for their class and a great shooter in Allsmiller the last 2 seasons, you are going to look the part.

    Corn Elder or Braxton Bonds?

Maybe you should ask MTSU, LSU, Wichita State, William & Mary, Miami of Ohio, Harvard, and a few others what they think about Bonds' abiity. Or maybe you and DoyleHargravesConstruction are better evaluators of basketball talent. You must be in the wrong profession.

  5. Oh I don't think it is so bad in Williamson County. A lot of good coaches would like to coach here. Wouldn't it be ironic if Crawford ever came back to this area?

You may want to look at 'why' others have left as well. As hard as it is to believe in Williamson County, money is NOT everything.

Now why did Crawford REALLY leave BEFORE Pemberton?

  6. True, but I have friends who it costs. And contrary to popular opinion, not everyone can just write a check, some parents work more than one job to pay for Christian school. Again, though, if that is in line with the entire staff salaries, I'm ok with it.

BTW, what did your daughter say about Coach M. offering rides to school to help out a single mom, while she was trying to move closer to the school?

She said to worry about your own world and stay out of others. Not really.....that was me. I only ask her relevant stuff.

  7. I'm sure there will be CPA parents thrilled to hear a coach who brings in his own AAU team is making that much money. Especially considering recent tuition increases. Unless of course other staff members with equal numbers of years are making comparable pay.

It won't cost you a thing so don't worry about it.

  8. Easy with the Bravado Bud. It borders on making a public threat. You were the one calling people cowards for hiding behind religion and calling people hypocrits. Please be aware most people don't give a darn what you think.

6ft1 230lbs. Lets meet for dinner and cocktails and talk about it. My name is Nate. Email me to set up a time: nate@memoriesbynate.com

    nate@nathanielbuntyn.com

    nate@mycomputerclinicllc.com

I can be reached on either of the above email addresses. All of the above entities belong to me, so receiving the emails will not be a problem. That's how "us" Liberals get down. I look forward to hearing from you.

  9. I've lived in several places and I have never seen more hypocrites when it comes to christianity. I will never buy into the christianity crap, especially in Middle Tennessee.....I see a bunch of cowards that try to stand behind money and power. I'm ok with that, but don't piss on my head and tell me it's raining. They are so "politically" correct. They do what's best for them by any means necessary.

    Liberal?

  10. Oh I'm sorry....I apoligize. I rechecked the rule book and see it is O.K. for Player A to grab player b by the wrist and hold on if player b is larger than player a or if player b happens to be the better player. Different rules in your part of the state. I do agree the second one was not called correctly.

Ok, what just so happens to be in those arms? THE BASKETBALL! And the last time I looked, if your going for the ball ( not in malitious fasion ) its not an intentional foul. I believe all the officials was trying to say with those intentional fouls is " Don't hurt the superstar! ". And the way I seen it, it was a 5'6" 160 lb Bubba Jolley reaching into a 6'6" 225lb Jaylin Lyndsey. So I believe the phrase "pulled down" is a bit of a stretch there DAD1.
