If you will check the stats you will find Steckel scored very few touchdowns and was there to block.....or maybe through back to the QB to pull a game out at the last minute. Here again....quit listening to "mom and dad" in the stands.

Sorry young man but someone with so little knowledge...especially about football...really should not post on public boards when even that knowledge was learned from parents in the stands. Brentwood won the championship in 2002 not 2003. Luke Steckel was a linebacker and came in as an extra back in short yardage....not a WR. I could go on but anyone that would remotely even hint Ron Crawford is anything other than one of the top high school coaches in the state needs to take up watching soccer!

I was shocked at the bad ball handling, shooting, etc. Really disorganized and total street ball. The difference in officiating from one game to the next is also strange....wide open of ticky tac!

I heard the guy at Stratford last night at the Regional tournament. He is good and very entertaining. Too bad the equipment sucked and it sounded a little like ordering a burger into the clown's head at a drive through.

You can come down on the coach all you want but passing that description on to the kids is unacceptable, low class, and I suggest the mods ban you. You Sir are very lucky an old crotchity grandpa does not know your identity!

As an advocate of public schools for my sons and now with a grandson in a private school I can shed some light on all this. You are all over thinking this whole deal. The coach is the difference. The school with the best coachs get the best players. The schools with the best coachs win the most games. Colleges with the best coachs do the same. It is really pretty simple.

I'm beginning to think there is not a lot of intelligence on here to insult! Every kid, athlete or not, at a private school is recruited. I'm a public school advocate if the quality of education(or athletic opportunity) is comparable but everyone should have the right to go to whatever school they choose within the rules.

Why does the State of Tennessee Department of Education even bother with TSSAA when all they have to do is ask kbrks and Hoopit10? They could save a ton of money.
