I can tell you right now as a coach and teacher who has moved from TN to GA, it is a big difference in pay. I never realized it until I moved here. You better be prepared.

I am a former TN coach now teaching and coaching in GA and I can personally tell you GA schools treat coaches way better than TN. The top programe here in GA make most of the small colleges in TN look bad. Dublin is the real deal in 2a.

I just read that West Carroll's boys coach has resigned. If anyone is ready to rebuild.

Henry Middle School is in need of filling open basketball dates for the 2005-2006 season. If anyone in West TN needs games, our dates are Nov. 14, 15, 17, 21 ,and 22. We would be willing to play on the 19th which is a Saturday. This could be a home/away split or just one game, we are willing to travel. Contact Coach Melton or Coach Greer @ 731-243-7114.

People need to relealize that talent comes and goes and most teams will be down and some time. Was it not two years ago the boys made the sub-state under coach Weeks. If he is given time with this group of Sophs and upcoming Freshmen the boys will be tough. The girls team is the same situation, the Sophs. are probably the best talent HC has had since the early 90's. AS for PSSD they can pay more to teachers because they don't have to pay the high athletic fuel bills that the county has to pay. I believe they should build a city high school and seperate the two systems. This would allow more unity with the county schools. The city middle school is always tough, if they were allowed to stay together all the way throughout high school as a AA school who knows how many championships they could have.

Erin Grant from Clarksburg, she want get alot of looks because the school is so small. However she carries the team and is only a freshman. She will make a great college point gaurd.
